The Sanctuary was perfect for our large group; everyone loved having their own bed and bathrooms. The house is well stocked and has great ice makers. Omar and Paige communicated very well and always responded quickly to any questions I had. We hope to book again in the future.

Beautiful Lakefront house with all the amenities

Our extended family enjoyed our week at The Sanctuary - a beautiful house with all the amenities to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The grandchildren enjoyed swimming and we had good fishing and good weather luck. Nice location on quiet cove at less commercial end of Smith Mountain Lake.

Amazing week

We loved the home, the location, the design, and the cleanliness. All of it. It was a perfect setup for our extended family. The lake is amazing and this home is spectacular. The owners have clearly thought through what a lake stay might look like for a family. This place is top notch.

Large family all generations welcome.

This was a great property for 16+ family size. Easy for my elders to get around on the property. Would do again. Lake was crystal clear for swimming and skurfing

A dream property for a big group. The bedrooms and en suites were comfortable for multiple families. The game room and bar area was a great space to hang out with 4 TVs! The dock space was really nice, but not many cleats or space to tie multiple boats. There were no stairs to the water which is a huge plus for this lake.

Great place to take a family!

Beautiful house on Smith Mountain Lake. Hosts were very responsive when there were questions. Kids had a great time fishing and swimming off the dock. Kayaks and paddleboards were a big hit. Plenty to do inside if there was any rain. Very nice neighbors. Would definitely book again.

BEAUTIFUL

Paige and Omar were extremely helpful in accommodating our group. They were quick to respond and so helpful. We’d recommend this home time and time again! Right by the beautiful mountains and the drive into the neighborhood is just breathtaking!

A great place to unwind

This is a great place to relax, have fun, and enjoy what the outdoors has to offer. If you have any questions or concerns the owners respond quickly. The house has everything you need to fix meals. You just need to bring the ingredients. Enough room for to all spread out and have fun as a group or to have individual time.

Good for all ages!

We had a wonderful time at this property! All my questions were answered quickly before we arrived. There were a lot of things to keep us occupied during our stay with lots of family ranging from 9 months old to 65 years old! It's a little far from places, but the Mexican place down the road is awesome! My mom is in an electric wheel chair and she did great here with the accessibility and open floor plan. Very clean and just as pictured / described!

Everything about the house is amazing. The house has everything you need. Loved the kitchen with 2 dishwashers, ice machine and large pantry. Plenty of large format pots/pans/serving/There's a 2nd fridge in the garage and yet a 3rd downstairs in the rec room.Very much appreciated all of the trash cans in the garage. Most owners don't provide enough.Easy walk to the dock. Also really appreciated that Omar and Paige provided 3 kayaks and 2 SUPs. We used everyone of them.For runners, walkers, and cyclists, the community and nearby roads are safe, rolling and provide a great workout.Omar and Paige were so helpful and responsive. Can't say enough good things. We're already looking to book next year.
