Beau Se Jour Cottage is minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
Enjoy a private location right on the Ocean with direct views of Acadia National Park. Beau Se Jour is sited on Cadillac Mountain and is a spectacular location with views that are breathtakingly beautiful.
'Beau Se Jour cottage' was designed and built to be reminiscent of the shingle style cottages which have always been unique to Maine's seacoast.
Sun-filled rooms are tastefully decorated with vintage wicker and accessories. Birch bark railings, a gas stone fireplace, and a moose-horn chandelier give this cottage a distinctive look and feel of an earlier time.
Relax on the comfortable, large eat-in screened porch with panoramic ocean and mountain views.
This beautiful setting is perched on Frenchman Bay and has breathtaking views of Cadillac Mountain and Acadia National Park.
If you are a garden lover, our region is for you summer or fall. Enjoy these spectacular historical gardens: Asticou, Thuya and the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Gardens located in Northeast Harbor.
Charlotte Rhodes Butterfly Garden in Southwest Harbor and Beatrix Farrand's home gardens in Bar Harbor, and Turrets Seaside Garden located at College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor. Many garden tours are offered throughout the summer months.

Enjoy a horse drawn Carriage ride, biking or walking on the Rockefeller Carriage Roads which span 45 miles and have 16 beautifully built stone bridges.
Enjoy Kayaking, Ranger Programs, a bus or boat tour to get a great overview of the Park and surrounding areas which are wonderful to explore.
Enjoy Bar Harbor with its Victorian flare, and the many charming nearby villages and towns each filled with their own unique characteristics.
We will be more than happy to help you plan your visit so you get the most out of your time in the Acadia National Park region as we live and work at Acadia so we can offer lots of places to experience and explore.
