Pack Creek ~ Ranch House | 3 Bed, 2.5 Bath

The Ranch House offers a spacious, ‘rustic luxury’ log cabin with a single level floor plan sleeping 2 to 12 people. With 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 bathrooms, you’ll find it ideal for a family vacation, group retreat, or romantic get-away for two. The absence of telephone and TV ensures you’ll have uninterrupted time, even as you remain in touch via high-speed internet. The living area features a native cobblestone wall with integral fireplace, a library wall and a view of the apple orchard. A large dining area connects to the fully equipped kitchen including a washer/dryer, and a half bath is located off the kitchen. The charming master suite has a king bed and old-fashioned claw foot bathtub; two other bedrooms have two queen beds each and share a hall bath with full tub/shower. Two daybeds under the dining window provide additional sleeping/seating. The back patio has a gas grill for cookouts and beautiful views of the mountains. And you won't find a better location in Pack Creek; this prime cabin is the closest unit to the large community swimming pool (traditionally open Memorial day until Labor Day but subject to change), and shared hot tub and sauna.

No pets are allowed in this unit.

Cancellations will result in a minimum $45 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival carry up to a 50% cancellation fee, and cancellations within 2 days of arrival carry up to a 100% cancellation fee.

Great restful cabin

The ranch house was spacious and cozy. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen stocked with lots of dishes and cooking items. Quiet and peaceful location away, but not too far, from downtown Moab

Fun Stay

The kids loved exploring the creek and the rock garden. It was just a 15 minutes drive into Moab so great location. The hot tub area was nice. Some of us did use the showers in the hot tub area because the house really only had one shower. The house could use some updating, the beds were comfy but had dips, the clothes dryer took forever and the dishwasher didnt always do it's job. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend staying here.

The cabin was very accommodating for our group. We were celebrating my husbands 60th birthday and had a group of 11 people ranging in ages from 9 months to 60. There were quite a few spiders as mentioned in other reviews, but I feel like that was to be expected considering the location of the property. The only negative aspect was that the hot tub never did get hot. It stayed at a barely like warm temperature. All in all, we really enjoyed the property and plan to return in the future.

Great location

The house was in a great location for us to use our UTV right from the house, convenient parking of our trailer, sunset was beautiful from the house; however, the house seems to have a spider problem. We would get up every morning and go through freshly made spider webs to go to the bathroom. Several baby spiders had a trail up the wall in the master bathroom. The house was clean with the exception of spiders and spider webs everywhere.

The house was ok and slept plenty. The house needs an exterminator due to beetles and spiders. The washing machine works but when it drains, the kitchen sink fills up with the dirty water from the washer. The dishes were dirty and we had to wash prior to using. We had to remove many bugs from the pool as it appears no one else does. There were many dead beds scattered around the house. The place is relatively quiet which was very nice.

Check in was a little aggravating. No cell service at the property, so I had to log in to the neighbors wifi to email host for door code as it was not provided automatically. Groundskeeper was working on the pool directly behind the bedroom window with power tools at 6am. He took no thought for sleeping guests. The whole house was very dark. There were few overhead lights with low watt bulbs that made it impossible to read. The house was clean and comfortable.

Incredible location and very comfortable cabin. We slept six. A few suggestions: (1) That the pool wasn't open should have been disclosed. (2) The kitchen could use new cooking utensils. (3) At the nightly rate of this cabin, the grill is cheap and absolutely needs replacement.

Perfect Moab adventure

For our family of 6, this was the perfect place to rest and relax from each days adventures. Loved the location on the mountain and just a little separation from town -- allowed us to really feel away. The cabin had everything we needed, was both rustic and comfortable -- as well as clean. The community hot tub was a hit and there was great respect in keeping the space clean and safe in this time of pandemic -- one cabin at a time with instructions for care. Could not recommend this cabin more strongly -- it is as advertised. We look forward to returning.

Great ranch house in idyllic setting

Recently stayed a couple of nights along with two other couples and enjoyed our stay in this great ranch house. The house was comfortable, warm and rustic in a ranch with amazing nearby mountains and canyon views about 20 minutes south of Moab but felt miles away. Great stargazing. The rooms were large and comfortable and bathrooms were clean and stocked. There are two large bathrooms, one with a claw foot tub, and the other with a shower. The kitchen is well equipped and great to cook and enjoy a meal in. Would recommend it.

The cabin was cool but it didn't have AC so its really hot!! Everyone was complaining about how hot it was the number they give u to call nobody ever answered there was not trash bags to throw away trash the bathrooms only have 1 toilet paper so we ran out completely. The cabin is really creepy 😳 Everyone said they saw paranormal activity 💀 and theres a frame thats hanging up there of someone who died on the cabin.

it was a cute remote cabin to just get away. But... You had no control over the temp of the house it was 80 degrees the entire time and was hotter inside then it was outside. For the price it wasn't worth it. There were mice in our room and it legit sounded as if someone was in the attic walking around. It was an adorable cabin during the day but at night became something completely different!! I know sounds silly but its true! It was only a 15 minute drive into town so that was nice. The bad part was nobody dared used the showers either spiders all over cob webs all over it put a nice touch to the cabin but for the price it was definitely not even close to worth it. Also the pool looked very questionable and nobody seemed to use it our whole stay there.

The property itself was beautiful; the property management company was not pleasant to deal with

The property was beautiful; was located in a remote area away from all of the activity in downtown Moab; and the pool and hot tub were great after long days hiking. However, we had many issues with the property, including a broken refrigerator (for 3 days of our stay); laundry that backed up into the kitchen sink; a dishwasher that did not work; and air conditioning that was controlled by a switch that no one told us about so we could not run the air until property management arrived. The property management company was hard to reach (apparently they don't work on the weekends, which is interesting since most people arrive on Saturday or Sunday for their week stay) and once we were able to get some type of response it took days to get all issues resolved and created much stress and aggravation on our trip. I would highly recommend the house but would hope that either the property management company is replaced or is run more efficiently in the future.

Great place!

This has been our third annual trip to Moab and second to this house. We stayed our first time in another place but this house is so much closer, has great amenities and is well taken care of. We'll be back to it next year as well. Pack Creek is just outside Moab but is nestled into a beautiful canyon. You get your privacy as this house is one of the furthest out. Great management company to deal with as well. Highly recommend as long as yo don't book when we want to use it:)
