Race Weekend

A room in a barn! Down a dirt road!

I had a splendid stay overnight at the Triple L Ranch, located between Italy, Maypearl, and Waxahachie. The owner added on a big game room/kitchen to one end of the open-air structure and six little bed/bath units inside. Mine was sparkling clean, the shower hot, and the bed comfortable. Jared called me before I arrived to give check-in instructions and followed up with a text with the gate code. I was a little nervous at the dirt road directions since the weather was going to be bad, but my little sedan had no trouble on the well-graded gravel. I had an adequate cell signal; there's no Wifi. The common room has TVs offering free streaming movies to watch from luxurious electric leather recliners. This was a lovely alternative to staying at a hotel in town!

Great little place

We were in town for the races in Ennis, so basically needed a place to sleep and shower. The bed was comfortable and had a nice walk in shower. Everything was nice and clean. We did not use the common area, but from what we saw it was really cool.

Very Quiet and Relaxing

Quiet and relaxing - really enjoyed our stay. Individual rooms/bathrooms and common kitchen/living area which was nice to have!! Would definitely stay here again!!
