Gorgeous Pool Home - 5 Min from San Marco
Summary:
Located in quiet St. Nicholas area, this gorgeous home sleeps up to 8 guests. Within 10 minutes of shops, restaurants and breweries. This house boasts a beautiful outdoor space with deck, fire pit lounge area and pool! High quality beds and linens have been provided to ensure a restful experience with top-notch amenities. Whether taking in an NFL game, a concert or enjoying a relaxing stay, this home checks all the boxes!
The Space:
You have full access to the entire house and yard. The space is very clean and comfortable.
This is a 4 bedroom home with 1 king, 2 queen beds, and 1 day bed with trundle pull out. An air mattress is also available upon request to host an additional guest in one of the shared spaces. The master bedroom with king bed has a dedicated and private bathroom while the remaining three bedrooms share a bathroom off the main hallway.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all pots, pans and utensils. There is a coffee maker with coffee, sugar and creamer provided and the option to make espresso. The refrigerator includes ice trays and a Brita water pitcher for filtered water. There is a microwave as well as a toaster.
The laundry room has a washer and dryer for guests to use. Laundry soap/pods are provided for guest use.
The backyard is a fully-fenced space, perfect for bringing your furry family members with you. Guests also have access to the pool and firepit.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access to everything the property offers, there is no shared spaces. The guests have full and private access to the fully fenced in backyard and pool. *Please note - the pool is not heated.
Guests do have access to the garage and will be provided a digital pin code to operate the door. The garage is appropriate for a small vehicle or SUV. Raised trucks, trailers, and wide cars may not be appropriate to park in the garage but guests will have access to a dedicated driveway as well.
The Neighborhood:
This home is located in St. Nicholas area of Jacksonville; close to San Marco and Downtown. This area is a quiet - residential neighborhood. This home is approx. 5-15 minutes from five urban-core neighborhoods surrounding the St Johns River. This home is also approx. 25-35 minutes from the beach, depending on traffic.
Getting Around:
Public transportation is minimal in Jacksonville in general. You are a few blocks north of the downtown bus terminal if you would like to use that.
There is also the Skyway if you would like to take a short trip around the urban core area.
Uber and Lyft both operate in Jacksonville so these are excellent resources if you don't feel like driving/don't have access to a car.
Other Things to Note:
PLEASE CONTACT US PRIOR TO BOOKING IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REVIEW RENTAL AGREEMENT.
We charge for additional guests above a fixed amount. This amount and additional charge varies by unit type, size, and configuration. If you input the correct guest count when you make your reservation the amount the booking site indicated as the total cost will not change (due to guest count). We ask for confirmation of guest count after you complete your booking. If you need to increase your guest count after booking confirmation due to a booking error, this could result in a price increase. Finally, we verify guest count via external cameras located on our properties. In the event that we notice a guest count at the property that is higher than reported, we reserve the right to ask for additional guest fees that would be double the amount we would have charged prior to check-in.
Kindly refer to the following guidelines regarding fees for extra guests:
Studio & 1 BR units - $25 per guest/night after 2 guests (i.e. 3 guests would be $25/night extra and 4 guests would be $50/night extra)
2 BR units - $30 per guest/night after 4 guests (i.e. 5 guests would be $30/night extra and 6 guests would be $60/night extra)
3 BR unit - $35 per guest/night after 6 guests (i.e. 7 guests would be $35/night extra and 8 guests would be $70/night extra)
4 BR units - $40 per guest/night after 8 guests (i.e. 9 guests would be $40/night extra and 10 guests would be $80/night extra)
5 BR+ units - $45 per guest/night after 10 guests (i.e. 11 guests would be $45/night extra and 12 guests would be $90/night extra)
We are pet friendly and charge $30 per night per pet for short term stays. For longer stays, I charge $150 per week and $300 per month per pet. If you are booking with me and are bringing a pet please let us know ahead of time! This fee is non-negotiable for any animal.
This fee is not included in the accommodation fare rate. We will send a request for the additional funds once the number of pets is confirmed after booking.
There is in unit laundry in the bungalow.
Events/parties are strictly prohibited and will result in a $1000 fine. A party / event is in effect any time the guest count exceeds either the maximum allowable on the property or the amount of guests booked.
A TV with a FREE Peacock subscription and access to popular streaming apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.) is available but there is NO CABLE.
Also, Saturday check-ins and check-outs are (generally) not allowed unless you are booking a stay that is >7 days, with the exception of some specific weekends (FL-GA and TPC Sawgrass weekends are a few examples). I may allow an exception to this policy (depending on the specific weekend and season) but reserve the right not to do so or to ask you to modify of cancel a reservation starting or ending on a Saturday.
The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming we can offer this at all (I often can’t so please never assume this will be allowed):
1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $100
1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $200
2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $300
3+ hr early arrival/late departure: $400 or the cost of an additional night’s stay, whichever is more
These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes my cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guest’s arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which I hold them to.
***Finally, smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere on the property - inside the bungalow or in any outdoor areas***
***If we find cigar/cigarette butts of any kind on the property or evidence of smoking (ash on flat surfaces, empty cigarette packs, etc.) we will assess a $500 cleaning fee in addition to the regular cleaning fee***
For guests requiring a pack n play, high chair, or any other non-standard item, please submit your request at least 7 days before check-in to ensure availability. If the request is made less than 7 days prior to check-in, we will make every effort to accommodate it, but cannot guarantee availability.
There is a propane grill. We do not supply propane, but you are welcome to pick up a tank and leave what you don’t use for a future guest. After using the grill, please clean it in order to avoid additional cleaning fees.
* Our system automatically charges a Damage Waiver amounting to $104 in lieu of a security deposit. *
