About this property
4BR Riverfront Villa, Quiet and Upscale!
Directly on the Big Deschutes River! From the moment you arrive, you know 'this is it,' your perfect get away retreat.
You have direct access to the river off the lower deck, for canoeing, kayaking, floating, or fishing. There are boat docks a short distance down the paved path for easy launching and take out if you prefer. Several miles of paved bike paths and additional trails in nearby forest land are all accessible off the back deck.
The pool, fitness room, and playground are across the street and close enough to see from the driveway. From the pool you can see the tennis/pickle ball courts if you want to work up a sweat before you swim. Two adult mountain bikes and tennis/pickle ball equipment have been provided for your enjoyment.
In the wintertime there are plenty of trails for cross country skiing or snow shoeing from the front door. Mt. Bachelor is less than 30 minutes away if downhill skiing, snowboarding, or even dog sledding is more your idea of a great time.
You are only a 10 minute drive from the Sunriver Resort for shopping, dining out, golf, spa, waterpark, horseback riding, and additional bike trails if you want to visit there.
Downtown Bend is about 25 miles. But you will enjoy coming back home to a place that is much less crowded and more private.
The greatroom with its attached large kitchen and adjoining deck provide the perfect space for everyone to socialize together. The large open space allows you to cook, watch TV or chat with everyone while preparing your own meals. The kitchen is stocked with all the basic essentials to make cooking your own meals an easy option.
There are two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs; one full bathroom upstairs and one full bathroom downstairs. The downstairs bathroom also has a washer and dryer for your convenience. With a king, two queens, a twin set, and two convertible chairs, you have a variety of sleeping options. To ensure comfortable rest during your stay, we use only high thread count linens for bedding – we want your sleep to be extra comfortable after long hard days of playing!
Extensive remodels were completed in 2011 and 2015 that included: walnut and tile flooring throughout, granite and tile counter tops, 500+ square feet of mahogany decking, roofing, picture windows, high-density insulation, pillow-top mattresses, furniture, urban-country décor, and fresh paint inside and out.
Please, be our guest; let our home be your home for a few days, a week, or longer if you can. We would be delighted to share the beauty of Central Oregon with you – and a home that will help you create the kind of memories you will relish for a lifetime!

We had a wonderful time. The house was big enough for our entire family and close to Mt. Bachelor, Sun River, and Bend. It sits on a nice location on the river with a great view and is comfortable for a family.
We had a fantastic stay! Our family truly appreciated the accommodations, which were clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy. Waking up in the morning by the river, with easy access for floating, was such a treat. The host was excellent in communication and very prompt. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future!
Love this place! Quiet, peaceful area. Right next to the river for our lazy float. House was well equipped and very comfortable! Communication was super! Oh and pickleball courts a 1-2 minute walk away if you need to fill that fix lol.
This property was perfect for our trip to Bend! It was right in the river, was so clean and comfortable and Connie was an asking communicator. We would highly recommend staying here and will most definitely book again.
This is our 4th year at this house. We love it. Check in is always easy. The kitchen is amazing. This year my husbands cousin joined us and she loves to cook. This kitchen served her well! Floating on the river is always our favorite thing to do, along with relaxing on the deck. Its a quiet neighborhood with the best walking paths :) Thank you Connie!
We needed a place to meet between our family in southern Oregon and Idaho. This was a great choice and we enjoyed our stay. The property is in a nice area not to far from the village with a nice walking path. The house has some nice finishes and works for a family.
This house had every to offer. It was very clean and close to the river. We were able to bring our own kayaks and take a trip down river for about four hours. Relax on yhe deck overlooking the river.
The property was very clean and had a great location. It definitely was quiet during our stay. Deer, rabbits, and a Heron were always nearby. It was nice that the weather was perfect during our stay. Recommend the property for your vacation. Just don't book it the week I want to stay.😄
Due to the fires in Oregon we opted to stay in and this home was perfect for doing just that. We felt right at home. The view of the river just out the backyard was very awesome. Would recommend this home and hope to be back again.

Thank you, Pam! Hopefully, you will be able to visit again and fires won’t be an issue! Thank you for your patience with the widening and repaving of our driveway. We would be happy to welcome you back!

This was a very calm, tidy and well stocked house. We specifically enjoyed the two patios with the view of the river. Owners were great and very responsive when there was a small problem with the TV.
The property was in an OUTSTANDING location. Very clean. Owner was available via text with immediate response. The only negative of the property is the bed frames are noisy.

About the host
Hosted by Connie
We (Connie and Larry) are life-long residents of the Northwest. We feel blessed to have grown up and live in such a beautiful area, where quality of life is valued. We enjoy a large family and being engaged in the community in which we live and work. Throughout our lives, we have had the opportunity to vacation with our family and friends and are grateful for all of the special memories that were created. It is our hope that our 'home away from home' will provide others a place to create their own lasting memories –a special place where family and friends can gather to slow down, reconnect, and really enjoy each other’s company. A place where body, mind, and spirit can be refreshed and simple pleasures appreciated. That’s the intent and ambiance of this home.
Why they chose this property
We reside in the Willamette Valley but have traveled to Central Oregon for work and pleasure for many years. We appreciate the diversity of activities afforded by the area from the winter snow to the summer sunshine. It was our desire to locate a home in Central Oregon, specifically located on the beautiful Deschutes River, where we could gather with our family and friends and continue to build our own special memories. We wanted a location that was perfect to stay put and relax or to use as a base camp for the many day trip opportunities. This was it. A lovely home. A quiet, family-oriented community. The tranquility of the Deschutes River flowing by.
What makes this property unique
The pace is more relaxed and more private than the big resorts. We like being able to participate in all the action when we want to, but still be able to retire to a quiet place when we want to simply hang out together.
