Felt a bit catfished about the overall property. Arrived to a sink filled with hair, shower filled with hair, and a wet couch where one guest was supposed to sleep that night. Apparently the couch was wet because it had been shampooed but it should have been dried in time before our check in time. Disappointed for what we had paid for it.

Thank you for your feedback. The couch had been shampooed after the prior guest to ensure it was fresh for your arrival, and we're sorry it hadn't fully dried by check-in. When you flagged the bathroom, we sent our cleaners back the same evening at 6pm for a full re-clean, and though the photos didn't show hair, we took your concerns seriously. We also refunded 50% of your stay. We appreciate the chance to make it right and wish you well in your future travels.

Great deal for a clean stay near the airport.

Color scheme is super cute. Very Alaskan esque. Clean. You do need to take your own trash out to the dumpster.(Which I saw later)ByoCoffee. Otherwise , no hastle, clean, private, convenient cottages. Will definitely stay again. Thanks!

The little cottage was comfortably set up. But the area in which we were in was a bit sketchy. My husband went out a couple times, to check on walking travelers, trying to get in fence.

All that you need, and pretty close to everything.

All good from the day we booked until the time we checked out. The hosts are pretty through with the details and quick to answer questions. The property itself is well located and easy to find. The cozy little cottage is 5min drive away from lretty much everything in the city. When we got there, we found a welcome booklet with the history of the property and plenty of tips on what to see and where to go. The inside was nearly clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I'd definitely stay there again.

Work trip to Anchorage

Everything is just as amazing as it looks online! This unit is absolutely adorable, cozy, and impeccably maintained. Ross, the host, is truly fantastic—he's always on top of everything and responds to messages in a flash! You’ll love the convenience of the location; it’s just 13 minutes from the airport, and GPS gets you right there. Check-in was a breeze with the easy keypad lock, making everything stress-free. Plus, it’s only blocks away from downtown, with Walmart just a quick 2-minute drive. And don't miss out on the charming little breakfast shack right around the corner—it serves the BEST breakfast burritos! I've decided to extend my stay with Ross for the entire duration of my contract!

Good value

The property was close to many amenities(good restaurants, coffee shop) a short walk away but the property itself was in a fairly run down part of town. I think a new coat of paint and some deep cleaning on the heating unit would really freshen the place up. There was a nice supply of kitchen essentials and the best quality paper towel and toilet paper. It was a very good price for what it was but we didn't love it.

The layout of the unit was good. We enjoyed having a gas stove and the bed was comfortable. The couch wasn't as easy to navigate, but it was okay. We did appreciate having an ottoman and end tables. I would have liked some grab bars in the shower, which is also quite small. However, the water pressure was excellent. We didn't have any place to hang up coats. A coat tree or a hook on the back of the door could solve this. Eating in was a challenge since there is no table and only one chair for the work station, which we used as a table for eating. Initial communication was spotty, but once that was resolved, the host was quite helpful. I am sure this place is much nicer in the summer when the parking lots isn't full of ice and snow.

This small cottage was great . It was just big enough for a couple. You can park your car right in front of this specific unit making easy to unload groceries and what not . Communication is great . I asked very specific questions before I rented all were answered quickly and I booked just as quick. No smoking in the units themselves but they have a awesome dedicated smoking area next to the fire pit. One thing tho theres dog poop on the grass it hides under the leaves. I couldn't figure out why exactly until the morning I was leaving i watched the house in front of the green grass area let out the dogs and do their business. No one ever came out to pick it up. I didn't really care but I didn't personally step in any but my girlfriend did twice lol . The pit area had wood to burn and was restocked as i was leaving. It was beyond fun building a fire with no chemicals or lighter fuel just plain ol know how . Wood was wet but I got a good one going . I poured my beer into a glass rolled up some smoke and just chilled . Quietly and peaceful next to a fire and some trees. It truly was relaxing and magical to me . I was able to cook a few meals as I had a complete kitchen to work in . I truly enjoyed my stay and look forward to staying again in the immediate near future. Just waiting for the snow to arrive . I have no complaints what so ever. I stayed for almost a week and the host even let me use their laundry facilities. It couldn't of been more perfect .Thank you so much
