The property worked perfectly for our group of six, 2 couples and two singles. Very quiet neighborhood and close, but not to close, to downtown.

White Christmas with family

We came to Truckee to spend white Christmas with extended family. Great large open communal spaces, and spacious rooms for each family to retreat to. Would stay again.

House was in an excellent location, deck had great views. We were golfing our first day and our tee time was before check in, and they allowed us to drop our stuff in the garage before we played, which was super helpful!

Very nice overall

The house is great. Only 2 issues: 1) you have to go to another place to get the keys beforehand. That’s kinda ridiculous in this day and age of coded locks and at the least lock boxes. This needs to be communicated before booking, but really should just be eradicated. 2) the neighbors are very serious about the 10pm noise ordinance. It’s is understandable, but even when indoors, if the windows are open very little noise will lead to the cops being called. This ordinance also needs to be more clearly communicated prior to booking. Otherwise, a great space for a Truckee stay

Beautiful Mountain Home

Im a little late on this review and could not let it slip another day. Where do I start? Our family came to Truckee last minute to celebrate the loss of a loved one during the Thanksgiving holiday. The hosts were so gracious and gifted our family a beautiful bouquet of flowers that were there when we arrived. The house is beautiful with amazing views. Perfect for a large family or friends getaway. Very close to downtown Truckee. The house was packed with all the amenities you can think of. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything except food. Coffee, tea, every spice, sandwich baggies, foil, you name it they had it. Excellent restraunts and shopping within 5 minutes (downtown Truckee). Our family plans to make this a yearly tradition and will definitely stay here again. Kerrie and Lizzy were very responsive to our every need/request and such a pleasure to work with. I believe we were the first guests to stay there and we would've never known based on how well prepared this house was. It truly felt like our home away from home.
