Our family members loved their stay at La Cebadilla Estates. It is beautiful, spacious and fully furnished. It was a delight dealing with Angela before, during and after our visit.
We definitely will return.

Spacious. Comfortable. Isolated, yet near.
This home is a spacious, comfortable ranch-style house with a rooftop deck that provides a 360 degree view of Tucson’s mountains and desert.
It is isolated for privacy and relaxation, yet just 15 minutes away from the hiking trails of national parks or the stores of a commercial district and 10 minutes away from a public golf course.
The hosts, Taunya and Angela are extremely welcoming yet not intrusive. They have thought through and provided almost any amenity that could be needed from cooking products to cleaning products. They give the impression that they really want you to enjoy yourself.
We will be back.

Great place for a dog; and people!
We especially appreciated being able to take our dog for long walks in the friendly neighborhood and along the many nice trails in the area. The hosts were responsive but not intrusive. We loved our time in Tucson at this wonderful retreat.

A beautiful retreat
Our family really enjoyed this beautiful home, it really felt like home away from home. Very open and had all the amenities you need to enjoy your stay -- large master suite, open living, dining, kitchen, stocked kitchen, and laundry room. We especially enjoyed that this was outside of town, very private, and close to hiking in the mountains. We will definitely go back next time we are in town.

Great experience
Stayed 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the quietness and plentiful wildlife when we were at the residence. Our trip was centered towards hiking which we did almost everyday, and the commute to the trails was fine. Will definitely stay here again.

Peace and quiet
Lovely setting - quiet and private. Nice outdoor space to watch birds at feeders. Kitchen was very well-equipped. Owners are very responsive. Location is close to Saguaro National Park East Unit and the highway to Mount Lemmon, where we enjoyed going. It's a bit of a drive to central Tucson, but that's what we wanted.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The guest house was like our home away from home. The hostesses thought of everything with regard to what a guest should need during their stay. The location of this property kept us on the quieter, more rural side of Tucson and closer to hiking trails near Mt. Lemmon and Sabino Canyon. We recommend this retreat to all visitors who wish a truly comfortable and private getaway from it all.

Tranquil & Peaceful
We enjoyed 11 nights in this beautifully appointed 1 Bedroom fully equipped spacious guesthouse with a lovely covered wrap around brick porch and walled in landscaped backyard. The peaceful back yard, terrace and the many windows in this house allowed for views of the local mountains, local wildlife and stars and with outside tables, chairs, roof top terrace and BBQ to enjoy. The hosts thought of everything a traveller could need. The house stays cool without having to use a/c during our time. This location was perfect as close to the local mountains, very quiet and great base for our day time trips to local attractions. Our host Taunya was gracious and very accommodating and has a great knowledge of the area for 1st time visitors such as ourselves. Pet Friendly and allowed our Bullmastiff to stay with us during our stay. Very comfortable bed with a hugh master bathroom. This place more than met our expectations and highly recommend it and will return if back in Tucson.

Attractive, comfortable, and well maintained property in a lovely setting.
Taunya and Angela have created a wonderful vacation home. The house is pleasing and had everything that we wanted for ten days as a base for hikes in Suguaro East National Park. We also spent much time relaxing in the beautiful, peaceful seating areas that surround the house. The kitchen is well equipped and the outside grill was a plus.

Like living on a ranch
This casita was close to hiking at the National Park and Sabino Canyon. Groceries stores were 10 minutes away. The casita was spotless! We felt as if we were away from it all even though we were reasonably close to amenities. The property was great for a couple who like the outdoors. It does take a half hour or so to get to "downtown" Tucson and the amenities on the other side of the city.

Beyond my expectations
This is the second time I've stayed at this property. Perhaps that says it all. But I've failed to write a review mostly because I feel like I've found some undiscovered gem and I'd like to keep it all to myself.
Taunya and Angela are perfect hosts. Helpful without being intrusive. The property has everything you need and nothing more. The location is perfect for cyclists with some of the best access to both road and mtn. biking. Looking at a map it may seem like it's a ways from downtown Tucson, but this really is an advantage. It's close to the mountains so you can hear the coyotes at night, and the night sky is relatively free of city lights. Occasionally you'll see a javelina running across the road. Yet if you want, downtown Tucson is still readily accessible. This is the perfect retreat.
