2 Bedrooms, 1 Full Bath, Sleeps 4
I retired from the Government then opened a Victorian Bed & Breakfast that I ran for 20 years. I then decided I needed something on one floor so I bought a chicken house & converted it into an Italian Villa, that took about 5 years to finish. I like working in the yard & garden so that was the next project that I went after.
Owner purchased this Cottage in 2012
Why Owner chose Rileyville
I then decided I liked to have people around so I had a cottage built on the other piece of property I have. I wanted to be able to have the people get in touch with me if they needed something, but not too close to bother them. Then the patio went in so they would be able to have a fire & a charcoal grill, people like to get back to charcoal once in a while even though they have gas grills at home. The fire pit lets them toast marshmallows & make s'mores. The cottage is well appointed with all the new electronics & WIFI with top of the line linens, pots, pans, & everything else you might need including a food processor.
What makes this Cottage unique
From the upstairs loft bedroom you can look out over the Shenandoah River & the mountains which can also be seen from the screened porch & NO BUGS! Four legged babies like it to along with the owners because they can look out & see everything that is going on & still be safe. There is a large yard for them to play in if they are voiced commanded, otherwise you need a leash to walk on the road or over to the river. The surroundings of the cottage is peaceful, quiet, secluded, private, & serene, a place where you can relax & get back to nature if you want or just chill out on the porch & watch the deer in the morning & late afternoon. A place where you can totally relax!

Shar was a great host and the view was beautiful! The place was super cute and had all the amenities we needed for a five day trip to the mountains. The screened in porch was wonderful and Shar thought of everything we might have needed for our stay. We are a family of three with a toddler and the trip was both relaxing and fun.
You were a delightful family & I so enjoyed having you stay with me, I hope you come back again soon, your going to Love the Fall!
