Welcome to the Peabody House. This property spells raw beauty, including stone patios, gorgeous perennial gardens, rock walls. There are many opportunities to enjoy all water-sports, skiing, golfing, walking and biking trails and simply relaxing by the fire pit. There are a variety of eateries and shopping venues in Bridgton, as well as several nearby towns, for a great exploration experience. Each fall, neighboring Fryeburg, ME, hosts the largest state fair in Maine for an entire week, including agricultural events and demonstrations, a massive food park, crafters and amusement rides. Throughout the year, you will see various festivals geared to each season- such as the Festival of Lights at Christmastime, the Music-On-Main outdoor concert series, the Harvest Moon Festival in September- the list goes on! North Conway, NH is approx 45minutes away, has great outlet plazas, as well as the Mount Washington Cog Railway 🚃. At the cottage, we provide lots of games, books and puzzles and a great room for viewing movies or the Super Bowl 🍿There is the capability to sleep 7-8 guests, including couches.
