About this property

Only one prime August week available (Sat-Sat). Our beautiful home is conveniently located in an upscale Harwich Port neighborhood with a very short walk to our association beach. We recently remodeled adding a beautiful outdoor shower, contemporary flooring, new furniture, and freshly painted interior. Everything is looking great. We provide professionally laundered bed and bath linens. The house is a four bedroom, two bath, fully air conditioned cottage-style residence, with a large open kitchen and dining areas, relaxing living room, ideally located in a picturesque Cape Cod community. We’re located on the ocean side of Lower Country Road with a four minute walk to a salt water beach (no need to purchase parking stickers). Close by downtown Harwich Port for boutique shopping, casual dining, and Cape Cod Rail Trail access for great biking. Harwich Port is a well-kept secret on Cape Cod with discreet charm and true New England character. Our guests love us. Remember to book early for your preferred vacation week choice.

Great accommodations!

This was a fantastic property with close proximity to both the beach, downtown, and grocery stores. The actual house was perfect for 7 people, and was extremely clean. It’s great having a property that has cleaning supplies, silverware / dishes available! I would highly recommend.

Perfectly Located Beach House

This house was absolutely wonderful. It was only about a 5 minute walk to the beach and within 15 minutes of many different shops and restaurants. There was plenty of seating inside and outside of the house to play games together. We had everything we needed from the owners to have a great vacation. To have air conditioning on both floors was such a great bonus! Ed and Gayle were amazing hosts and we look forward to staying here again!

Family Fun in Harwich Port

We really enjoyed our stay at Ed & Gayle’s home. They had everything we needed and it was a nice short walk to Earle St Beach. We would definitely love to rent there again if available.

House was very clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the wagon for bringing things to and from the beach, and all the kitchen equipment - had everything we needed! We enjoyed our stay and hope to come again!

Cute house, great location!

The house was impeccably clean and the kitchen was open and updated. The high ceilings make it feel airy. The downstairs bedrooms were perfect for my husband and me and our 6 year old, and my parents were perfectly happy in the twins upstairs. The outdoor shower looks brand new and the large deck and many outdoor seating options (including a hammock!) and grill draw you outside. The house is a short walk to a beautiful beach with very fine sand. A great stay!

The house was very clean and neat. Everything we needed was there. The house was centrally located on the Cape so we could travel anywhere in a comfortable day trip. I felt very safe allowing my dog to go outside by herself. It was an excellent way to celebrate my 75th birthday!

Beautiful cape cod neighborhood

We stayed for 3 days 4 nights at this beautiful home for a wedding weekend. There were 4 adults, 1 teen and 1 10 yr old. The house was clean, well appointed and on a gorgeous private street just a few minutes walk to the beach. We didn't spend a lot of time in the house, but the living areas are spacious and functional and the outdoor spaces inviting. The host was friendly and responsive. Overall a great house for the beach and cape cod experience.

Outstanding property! Impeccably clean! The home has everything you will need! The Property Managers (owners) are amazing, prompt, and provide awesome communication! We have stayed in numerous places, and this home was top notch! So close to a private beach! Exactly like the listing- if not better! Highly recommend! Close to shops, restaurants, and grocery needs. Under a five minute walk to beach. The water was gorgeous!

Stayed for a much needed weekend getaway. It's a short walk to the beach, and for those who like walking, an easy walk to town. Really nice setup outside of the house, with plenty of quiet places to read. Clean and bright inside. Excellent communication with the owner. Would definitely stay here again. Really wished I had booked a longer stay.

Great Getaway!

We had an excellent stay in Harwich Port! Ed was great to work with. This house was perfect for us and our two dogs! It’s just a short walk to the beach and a quick drive into town. We would love to go back!

Beach get away

We were close to the beach and the house had all the amenities needed. It is a small place with a large kitchen and comfortable family room. Bedrooms are very small, but very comfortable. It has A/c and we used it a few times, nice to have. So great that it is pet friendly, our Golden had the best time! The House was super clean and the outdoor shower was the best!!

Wonderful experience all around!

Our stay at's Ed's property was perfect! The house was spotless and beautiful. The attention to atmosphere and decorating was great, just being in the home made me happy. The kitchen is big and roomy with both a breakfast peninsula and a dining table, providing plenty of room for gathering at meals and to play games together. We were there during a cold windy week in April, so we spent plenty of time indoors. The living room was cozy and comfy. We were able to congregate there and play even more games! The deck was inviting, although too cold for us to get much use out of. We were traveling with family, kids 8yo, 11yo, 16yo, and our 20yo adult son. There were more than enough beds for us. The beach was at the end of the street, an easy walk, completely flat, no uphill battles, lol. We usually went to the next street over, where we found a short path through the "woods." This was great for walking the dog, as he is used to walking in fields and forest on the daily. My 8yo son was thrilled to find an enormous crop of wintergreen berries in those woods, lol. The house in is a typical Cape Cod neighborhood, with houses right next door to each other. The street was a quiet side street that ends at the beach (no through driving traffic to the beach, which is nice.) The street is off a busier road that led right into town. Plenty of choices for restaurants and shopping. No reservations. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

2021 Spring Break

Renting Property was very easy through VRBO, but what really made it pleasant was working with the owner, Ed. He was super accommodating, gave great instructions and very easy to work with. Property is fantastic. Very clean, spacious with all the necessities for a short or long stay. And, best of all the beach access - 2 min walk to beautiful, clean and large beach. Kids had a blast in safe and quiet neighborhood, easy to walk to town. Overall 5 stars: property, owner, beach, area
