Silverthorne stay

We had a great stay. Hot tub was not working, but the guy who fixed it was super nice. There’s a few things that could be fixed like the trashcan, vacuum and the automatic blinds wouldn’t close. Otherwise an amazing stay! This is our second year and we love staying here.

We spend 2 nights here in late July for my step-daughter’s wedding. The location was great and convenient and accommodated our party of 9 ok. No amenities for an infant. The house was HOT and there is no AC. There are multiple fans available but they do not cool down the house adequately. Many of the windows don’t open and you’re pretty much forced to leave the shade down so that the sun does not make the house hotter. My husband and I started in the MASTER SUITE and this area is located on the 3rd level and is the hottest space. The KING SIZE bed in the master suite is the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE bed my husband and I have ever slept in. It’s a spring mattress and sinks in when you lay on it. The pillows provided are extra firm and high so it made for a very poor night sleep for the both of us. There is no adequate ventilation or opening windows in the master suite bathroom so it got very moist in there and also very hot although the design is very pretty. The towels were new and unlaundered so didn’t dry well and left lint all over us. The bunk beds in the bedrooms are very close to the ceiling so my daughters who are 9 and 10 didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on them as they kept hitting their head when they sat up so they ended up on the pull out sofa in the very small living room (pictures are deceiving). The basement was nice a cool but the tile in the bathroom down there was lifted and so water was getting under it and would squish when stepping out.

The house overall is nice; however, it's not well taken care of. There is no a/c which is ok, but all of the windows in the main area were painted shut or the hardware was removed so you couldn't open them to let the house cool off. The blinds at the top windows were also broken. We called and they said they'd stop by at 3. We were not home so we're unsure if they even came but the blinds were not fixed and there was no communication that they came but couldn't fix them. The backyard is nice but it is all tall weeds.

We rented this home for six weeks, expecting a property marketed for long stays to be well-maintained. It wasn’t. While the owner was occasionally responsive—replacing a broken vacuum and providing coffee promptly—the overall condition fell far short of reasonable standards.Outdoor areas were neglected: thick layers of debris under the deck, an unsanitary gas grill I had to clean myself (only to find it underpowered), and a front entry marred by dried bird droppings. The house paint was peeling, several window screens were missing, and many windows were painted shut. A kitchen window was permanently stained between panes, and the handyman’s repairs were sloppy.Inside, the bedding was cheap and uncomfortable—nowhere near what you’d expect in a high-priced, long-term rental. In short: This property might pass for a weekend stay if you’re not picky, but for extended renters seeking a comfortable, well-maintained home, 578 Big Horn Circle is likely to disappoint.
