Welcome to the "wasp season" from November to December and early spring! During chilly nights and early mornings, followed by warm days, wasps tend to gather on rooftops in search of warmth. While it doesn't necessarily mean there's a wasp nest in the house, they are essentially in hibernation mode, seeking cozy spots.
Generally, they won't bother you much, but we kindly ask you to keep the cabin doors and windows shut to prevent them from entering. Just a heads-up: there's wasp spray conveniently located under the kitchen sink in case you need it, but do not spray over the furniture!
Stay buzz-free and enjoy your time in the cabin!
Please note that this is a forested area and there are times when the Oklahoma Forestry Service enforces a burning ban in the area. Fines can be upwards of $1000. Please check online for the current burn ban status before using the outdoor firepit.

Great cabin, great hot tub, location was nestled nicely in the woods. Lots of privacy in the trees and near enough to other cabins so you still feel safe. Loved our stay.
Cabin is in a quiet place not too far from the main road to allow easy access to activities. The cabin is very clean and well maintained. The host made regular contact with us to ensure we arrived safely and to check on us. The hosts did a great job of making the cabin comfortable and enjoyable.
We had a wonderful time during our weekend stay at the Toasted Pines. The location is far enough out of town to have a relaxing environment, but it is only a short drive for all Hochatown has to offer. The home is well equipped with items to be able to cook at the cabin, should you choose to stay in. The host was extremely responsive, and we look forward to staying again.

Great weekend getaway!
The property was easy to find and check in was a breeze! Beautiful cabin, provided with everything you would need in a home. It was nice to come back to a relaxing hot tub after our hikes while my boyfriend grilled on the deck. The spacious waterfall shower and tub reminded me of being at a spa! Just what my boyfriend, pup and I needed - wish we would’ve stayed longer! Definitely recommend & hope to visit soon!
If anything, they undersold the place. It was beautiful, clean, and had everything we could have asked for. We were only minutes away from everything, but still in a secluded little area. Did I mention it was a beautiful cabin? The hosts were so helpful. The guide they gave us was so thorough. We had a blast!
The cabin was beautiful, the location relaxing! Everything in the cabin operated without any trouble including fireplace, door lock, hot tub, WiFi, and TV’s (Netflix was already signed in). The hosts texted daily to assure everything was going well which sets them apart from any other rental hosts I’ve experienced. Would recommend Toasted Pines or any property managed by these hosts.

Beautiful place
Toasted Pines is a beautiful cabin in a quiet, peaceful place. We really enjoyed the quiet getaway, nestled next to the woods, where deer came and visited along the edge of the woods. The hot tub was wonderful! The cabin is beautifully furnished with everything you need for your getaway. Our hosts checked on us several times to make sure everything was perfect. You are a little bit out of town here, but we’re senior citizens and didn’t need to be near activities. We thoroughly enjoyed eating at Grateful Head Pizza, Hochatown Saloon, Stephen’s Gap Restaurant, Okie Girls ice cream. All yummy!
My S/O and I really enjoyed our stay here. The place looks as pictured. Nice and peaceful. Easy check in process. The host checked in to see how everything was during our stay. The kitchen was stocked with cookware (pots, pan, toaster, waffle maker etc). All you need is food if you were bringing any. There were a couple of items left by others such as seasonings etc. Which came in handy. The jacuzzi was really nice and the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Huge bathroom ... Lovely! . I give this place a 10/10. We will definitely be returning.
Thanks, Brian! We’ll definitely look forward to having you back!

Hello there!
We're Jason and Kayla Jandera, hailing from Frisco, Texas, although we proudly consider ourselves true Kansans - Go KSU Wildcats! Our family consists of two wonderful boys, Knox and Riggs, and our beloved mini Goldendoodle, Beau Beckett. As a family, we have a deep love for vacationing and exploring, with a particular passion for the great outdoors.
Our first trips to Hochatown date back to when our boys were just infants. Each time we reluctantly packed up to head back home, we couldn't help but say, "We adore this place so much; perhaps someday we can have our very own cabin to bring the boys here more often." These trips always left us feeling rejuvenated and connected to nature.
In 2020, our dreams transformed into reality when we acquired our first cabin in the heart of Hochatown Pines. We are genuinely thrilled to welcome you to our cabins and share our cherished home away from home with fellow nature enthusiasts.
What makes this property unique
Location. We are a quick drive north of Hochatown but it makes it serene and quaint. We have a great deal of privacy on the entire backside of our cabin. The patio walk out to the hot tub is really cool and unique.
