Welcome to Horizon South #57-105, a one-bedroom, one-and-a-half bathroom condo in Panama City Beach, Florida. This lovely condo is one of the closest to the beach access right across Front Beach Road, making it a quick walk to the sugar white sands and emerald waters of the Gulf.

The walls and doors were filthy. Hair all over the shower curtain. Dishwasher had standing water in it and was unusable . When opened the door had to evaluate the condo due to smell. No water for over 8 hours on Monday. Pillows on couch smelt lovely like cat urine. Wasn’t provided the bylaws for the HOA. We rented a slingshot and was told it wasn’t allowed on property. We lost 450.00 on the rental. Security on the property was rude and disrespectful. We have traveled to Panama for the last 10 years for my daughters to play in the Softball Worlds. This was the most disappointing vacation we have ever had here.

Inaccurate Information

The home was fine. We were confused about the murphy bed which is in a small cabinet in the living room. Photos need updated regarding what/where the bed is. The rest of the home was as described. However, the dishes were not clean, we had to wash everyone before using them. The biggest problem that was not communicated with us was the construction going on right outside the front door. That was not how we envisioned our beach getaway. Due to the construction and "relaying of water lines," we had very very low water pressure two days and had to bathe using a cup/bowl to pour over our bodies and hair to wash with. This was very inconvenient and feel like if we would have known that there was construction or water line issues, we would not have booked a place in the Southern Horizon neighborhood. I would definitely check with the office before booking any home in this area until they are completely done with the construction/water lines.The home itself if very close to the beach and that was a plus, however the pool near the house (another reason why we booked this house/condo) was closed on our last day at the house due to construction or improvement. Another reason why we were dissatisfied. It felt like one problem after another. I am not so sure that it was the home owner issue rather a Southern Horizon issue, but we were not informed of any of this going on.
