Welcome to GrayBear Cozy Cottage, nestled in Lakeside, AZ. This charming, updated cottage is just minutes from Rainbow Lake and close to everything Lakeside offers—skiing, snowboarding, sledding, hiking, biking, restaurants, and shopping. It’s fully equipped for your perfect mountain getaway!

PLEASE NOTE IN THE SUMMER - Portable AC units in all bedrooms and main area, these are removed during Fall and Winter months.

3 Bedrooms: Two rooms feature king-sized beds, one with an en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom has two queen beds, plus a twin Murphy bed in the primary closet. Comfortably sleeps 8-9 guests, ideal for families or friends.

2 Full Bathrooms: Enjoy the convenience of two full bathrooms, ensuring everyone has space to refresh.

Outdoor Firepits: Relax under the stars around two outdoor firepits—perfect for roasting marshmallows and unwinding. Both wood burning and an option to use gas during burn bans.

Dog-Friendly Yard: Bring your pets! Our spacious yard is perfect for your furry companions (cats not permitted). Back yard offers a secure place for your pups to play.

Rustic Charm: Thoughtfully decorated with rustic touches, the cottage creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Modern Amenities: The cottage features a fully stocked kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a cozy living room with a fireplace for ultimate comfort during your stay. Smart tv's in all bedrooms where you can enjoy watching your favorite streaming platform.

Home is situated on a dead-end street and in a community free from HOA regulations, due to that please take note that homes in the area will vary in size, style, and appearance which is common to the local area. There are homes located on both sides and across the street. Front and back yard are both fully fenced.

So the green bear cottage was amazing, it had everything a well appointed rental should. The front yard was great and very cozy.

Good location, cute little house with all you need. The backyard was great and the front yard was even better ! Each bed has a duvet cover and it makes for the coziest nights ! We enjoyed our time here very much

Nice stay in the pines. The home was comfortable, clean, and our kids loved the board games. The fire pit was also great for the evening to roast s’mores. We would definitely return!

The house itself is very cute, it has everything you need, it is spacious and comfortable. The owner is extremely responsive and always available. If it was just my family, without pets, I feel it would have been more enjoyable. However, on day 1, the big dogs next door broke through their front door and came to attack my dogs while I was trying to walk them on leash. The back fence is cattle fence wire, and is shared with a dog that lives directly behind the house. The neighbor next door (owner of the big dogs) stopped me on a walk and was questioning if we were related to the owner and how long we were staying. We ended up leaving a day early, as the whole situation made us uncomfortable.

Mountain getaway

GrayBear Cozy Cottage is just as described. The hosts are super responsive and kind. We especially enjoyed the soft blankets and the fire pit. The cottage was clean.

The house was great. The dishwasher didn’t clean very well. We ran out of toilet paper, paper towels and dishwasher soap but the host was quick to respond. Also there were a lot of barking dogs all day and night. We enjoyed our stay and it was centrally located.
