simple but adequate

These townhouses/condos are quite old. Most of the roads leading into this area are in need of repair as is parking lot. House itself was just as advertised. Two big decks but plastic furniture has seen better days and it would have taken too long to clean them. King bed was very comfy. Queens - one was so lumpy you could see the difference from one side to the other. Fortunately, only one guest had to sleep in it. All appliances, tv's, etc, worked great. Internet was intermittent. Our book of rules, and where facilities are needs updated. There is NO laundromat in Wolf Run. We knew we had to use the one in Silverwoods which is on the other side of Treasure Lake. Exchanged towels which is in building next to laundromat so that worked out. Bathrooms were clean but upstairs one could use a handrail to get out of the shower or at least shower mat. We were there for a week, and had to actually extend our stay twice and it was done easily. The girls at check in were super helpful. There is a lot to do at TL and the DuBois area, and we will probably use WR or SW when we return.

Clean place, but not so helpful check-in

I did not receive instructions on checking in my email from what the website said would happen a couple days prior. So, I contacted the host via email and phone. I received no response from the email I sent and the host's phone number was some place on totally wrong number. Needless to say, I had to contact VRBO to get contact info to contact the host again to check in. The phone number they gave me was a call center with a very rude woman who basically said don't call us unless it's after 4pm and acted like my question for checking in was the most idiotic question she's heard. She also said the office for checking in closes at 4pm, but my checking time is 4pm. I was so confused. In addition, she said that I should find the office at the place where I'm staying which was entirely wrong. When I got to the gates community where I was staying, they told me to turn around and go in another direction to get checked in. Luckily, the office was open until 5pm. I did get checked in and I followed directions on how to get to the place inside the gated community. I was very distraught at this point, but our place was very clean and everything in the place did work well. The A/C, oven, stove, fridge, etc. Everything but the toaster worked, but that was minor. We enjoyed our stay and check out was thankfully easy.

Crown Resorts at Wolf Run is located in north central Pennsylvania, nestled in the heart of an 9,000 acre resort community in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. It's just south of Allegheny National Forest and borders Pennsylvania State Game Lands #77. Treasure Lake Resort has a multitude of quality amenities for all seasons. Two 18 hole PGA golf courses are manicured to perfection and provide our members with a challenging golf experience. Four lakes can be found here with the largest at approximately 300 acres. The smallest is for children's fishing only. Lake activities include 4 white sand beaches, fishing, boating, canoeing, and paddleboats.
