Golfing at St. James Bay Golf & Pickleball Resort. Our course meanders through the rugged natural vegetation and wetlands of Florida’s Forgotten Coast. Each hole is its’ own little world, out of sight from the rest of the course, giving a unique feeling of tranquility. It also claims the distinction of being the area’s only course designated an Audubon Signature Sanctuary. Wildlife naturally abounds and cranes, hawks, eagles, black bears, and of course alligators add enjoyment and photo ops to every round. Accuracy and strategy are the weapons of choice for a successful round. The course offers risk-reward options on almost every hole and while the big hitter can take advantage of the relatively short yardage on the par fives it’s the player who keeps it in play more often who will win the day. There is simply not a bad hole on the course. Stand out holes include number 9 a dog leg right around a lake and the 12th a picturesque par four while the 5th and 16th are all the “golf hole” you will ever want to play.

Pickleball. St James Bay has joined the growing community of Pickleball enthusiasts with the installation of 8 brand new outdoor Pickleball courts! If you have not yet tried this sport, this is a great opportunity to begin. Pickleball is a paddle sport that has drawn in nearly 3 million enthusiast players across the country and now has an international following. Efforts are underway to make it an Olympic sport.

Enjoy a great variety of fishing opportunities, perfect for all ages and skill levels. Inshore trips target species include redfish, trout, flounder, sheepshead, trippletail, jack crevale. Spend some time in shallow water sight fishing for redfish, tarpon, or other flats fish. Fly Fishing and Spin Tackle options are available. Half and full-day options are available. Here you’ll have access to a range of fashion apparel, shoes, equipment and accessories. We offer Titleist and Callaway golf clubs and also provide a club fitting service, so you can get clubs personally fitted to your swing. Fashion apparel includes Greg Norman, Antigua, Cutter & Buck, Johnny O, and Bermuda Sands. We offer most items at comparable prices to the many of the discount golf stores.

Catering is available for on-site events, including weddings, tournaments, family reunions, holiday parties, meetings & conferences, any reason to celebrate. Event menus are carefully planned by Executive Chef James Messer to meet the needs of all guests. Our clubhouse and covered patio area can accommodate groups of 15 to 150.
