Cabin on Lake Madison! 100 ft of shoreline, walking distance to Hillside Resort!

We love our vacation cabin on Lake Madison, just 45 minutes from Sioux Falls. We hope you will too. The wi-fi is good, the living room has a smart tv you can log into and stream. There is direct lake access and over 100 feet of shoreline. Full kitchen with most utensils. Full bath. Laundry. Yard with rainbow playset. We have a four person maximum, if circumstances call for more you may request but not guaranteed. Sorry, no pets.

Great time at the lake

We found it very welcoming. Everything we needed was there down to the clothespins to close our chips. We washed and used the kayaks and life vests. Our only disappoint was no hot tub as listed on Vrbo. We would like to stay again and will make definite plans to do that next summer. Thank you so very much for your hospitality.

Relaxing Weekend

This was a nice, clean, cozy cabin right on the lake. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Madison. The beds, living room furniture and deck furniture were all very comfortable. The bathroom was newly remodeled with a nice shower.The kitchen was well stocked with about everything you'd need. It was a short walk to the Hillside restaurant which had delicious prime rib. Across the street from that was a convenience store which was nice for picking up drinks and other essentials. We enjoyed lake Herman State Park, shopping at the flea market in Madison and visiting the Prairie Village. Check in was easy with the lockbox on the door and communication with the owner was great. We would recommend this cabin and Lake Madison.

Had a great time! The cabin was very clean and well-kept, comfortable beds, every detail considered and even a few water toys that can be borrowed. The view of the lake from the deck is amazing and the deck was our favorite place to hang out. The lake, with two docks accessible, is just a few steps down the hill. Would definitely stay here again!The owners were wonderful -- great, quick communication and very generous/gracious. They are the model for what VRBO owners should be.Sad to be home already!
