Cabins@Creekside are on a beautiful mountain meadow with Spring Creek running along the property. Ponderosa Place offers two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, livingroom area with a sofa sleeper, & children's loft area, along with 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, private deck, & BBQ grill. Sleeps 6-8 with the loft area. Many of the major attractions in the Black Hills, including Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Custer State Park are less than 15 miles from this location making it a perfect place to base out of. Dairy Twist, a locals favorite diner, is also on the property providing you with great options for lunch and dinner along with ice cream! These are all family owned/operated businesses with 3 generations working to make it happen. We also have ATV/UTV rentals available as an option through our other business, Black Hills Wilderness Edge Adventures. Don't just see the Black Hills, experience them. Come see why we've been blessed to call the Black Hills home & want to share it with you!

These cabins were all-around fantastic! Conveniently located near Hill City with easy drives to Custer, Keystone, and the National Parks/Monuments in the area. Our cabin was super clean and comfy! Plenty of space for my family and I to stay, as well as to host our friends staying next door. Loved having the option to enjoy the outdoors on the porch, at the picnic tables, or by the fire pit. Super bonus--the Dairy Twist located right next door. Delicious food and ice cream within a less than two-minute walk? Yes, Please! :) Becky was a consummate host, taking great care of us during our stay and even providing us the opportunity to do a last-minute late checkout so we could explore a little more before heading to the airport. She and her team were easily available by text and super friendly. Highly recommend these cute cabins!!

A lovely place to stay, centrally located and close to many Black Hills attractions. Very nice cabins, with everything needed for vacation home base. Our only complaint is that the wifi connection was weak and slow.

This cabin was a cute little place to stay, however to be able to actually sleep 8 people- two people have to crawl hands and knees only into a loft with floor mats as beds. The master bedroom smells faintly of wet carpet and cats. Be prepared to bring all of your own amenities as well, including blow dryer and soaps. We loved the outdoor activity areas and easy access to the tourist attractions. The Dairy Twist on site was a nice touch.

Hello, We are sorry you didn't have the best of stays. In fact your water heater was leaking, the next guest let us know that it smelled musty. We immediately fixed it. We don't allow pets in our cabins. We advertise that the loft area is a kids sleeping loft & say 6 adults is a max for this cabin, with 2 queen beds & a sofa sleeper. Again, we asks our guest to let us know if you need anything or have any issues so we can do what is needed to make it right. Again we're sorry your stay wasn't the best.

Had a wonderful stay at these cabins!! Very clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I wish was better, is the ac in the master bedroom was very musty smelling. The maintenance people were very prompt in their response and came and tried to clean it out and check the filter, but it didn’t help.

Property was nice and clean and easy to get to. Right in the center of all everything! The host called to check on us and everything went super smooth. My only complaint was that the beds didn't have fitted sheets on them, just flat ....and that made sleeping a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, a great experience and a cute, well kept campground area!

We were surprised how small the cabin was. Certainly would be tight with 6. Bring a sharp knife if you plan on cooking. A tea kettle and smaller glasses for wine or mixed drink would be helpful.

Perfect Location and Size

This cabin was in the perfect location for our vacation to the Black Hills. We were able to see Spearfish, Deadwood, Rapid City, Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Keystone, and Custer State Park all with in an hour or less driving to each location. We are a family of 4 and the cabin was a good size. The loft was a little smaller than expected, but it worked just fine for our 17 year old son. It was nice having 2 bathrooms! The property is right behind Dairy Twist (like a Dairy Queen only better!) which was really handy. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute Cabin + Nice & Relaxing Property

We stayed in Cabin 6 for a few nights while in South Dakota, and it was perfect for our family of 4! This cabin had everything we needed to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. The grounds are beautiful and there are activities for kids! Bonus: Dairy Twist is right next door so you can get some ice cream, quick and easy!

Loved the cabins!

The cabins are amazing. The surrounding area with the beautiful landscape and stream right by the cabins, make this a magical place. We only booked for one night on our way back from Yellowstone and wish we would have stayed longer.

WONDERFUL LITTLE CABIN!

My family and I loved our stay! We had 3 adults and 4 kids. The loft was great for the 3 younger kids (ages 8,12, and 15). It is near a lot of fun shopping in downtown Hill City. It is centrally located to many attractions like Mount Rushmore, Keystone, and Custer State Park. The Dairy Twist has by far the BEST hamburgers, onion rings, and ice cream!!! We would recommend this beautiful cabin/ resort for anyone wanting a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing vacation !

Beautiful, Convenient and Fun

The cabin was cute and cozy. Yet efficient and roomy. One of the cleanest ans comfortable cabins I've stayed in. Management was easy to get ahold of and friendly and accommodating. The view was amazing. Will definitely be back
