This magnificent, first-floor condo is located in the gated Echota-Chalakee resort community and hosts everything you need for an unforgettable stay!

Ideally located for outdoor recreation, you’ll discover Sugar Mountain Resort, Grandfather Golf & Country Club, and Tweetsie Railroad all within a 12-mile radius. Spend a day hiking or playing a friendly round of golf. During winter, several resorts nearby offer top-tier skiing and snowboarding. Grandfather Mountain (15 miles) is the perfect spot for exploring wildlife and visiting the iconic Mile High Swinging Bridge. Blue Ridge Parkway and Appalachian State University are also close by.

All aspects of the stay were great. The only negative is there are two pools on the grounds and one is not for renters I hate any kind of segregation and others who think the are better off so they don't want to be near other humans.

Great clean place to stay for a few days. Wonderful views and property is gorgeous. Loved the pool. The only thing I would suggest is changing or fixing the door lock. It was difficult to lock with the key.

The condo was beautiful and the view from the balcony was spectacular! It was the perfect spot for our anniversary trip. My only complaint would be the huge “owner’s only” pool next to the condo that we weren’t allowed in. We could drive over to the other, smaller pool for “renters.” We love Echota and have stayed in multiple condos over the decades, this was our first time staying over in the newer, Chalakee section, but just because of that issue with the pool we would stay on the other side that feels more “renter friendly”:

Wonderful Condo Exceeded Expectations!

This condo was even more beautiful than expected! It was easy to check in with tons of communication from vacasa- the property manager. The room was clean, the view was OUTSTANDING, they provided the key fob for access to the pool and amenities, they even had multiple bosses games for 2+ players! It was a beautiful room with all of the accommodations. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Overall, this is a beautiful property with a beautiful view. It was great waking up and seeing the mountain, in the sunset right behind the mountain at the end of the day. Property was very nice and well maintained and beautifully furnished.We couldn’t figure out fireplace, however, and the property manager was no help. We were told maintenance was coming to check on the fireplace and they never showed. Overall, it was a great day, and we would stay here again. We spent several days skiing at Sugar Mountain and the proximity to the mountain was great.

Lovely Condo!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The view is absolutely beautiful and even though it is a condo, the balcony is somewhat private which was great! We used the indoor pool and outdoor pool with the key fob provided. The condo was stocked with board games and my 4 year old son LOVED this - it was such a nice surprise having all the games. The condo was clean and bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay again. My only suggestion was I reached out to the vacasa team and they didn’t know anything about the key fob. We weren’t sure how we were going to be able to access the amenities because they couldn’t help or tell us the fob was in the room already. Educate your guests a little better on that process and maybe leave a map of the resort in the condo with the pools highlighted that can be used! The condo itself was perfect though!
