Welcome to our condo in Hawaii, we like to give everyone a well deserved and affordable vacation. This is a very private and newly renovated, top floor corner unit centrally located in Kailua-Kona, Big Island Hawaii. 350 days of sunny weather in a year with some of the best beaches in the world, all within a short distance.
Our condo complex Kona Shores is located just outside the busy part of Alii Dr. within 1 mile walking distance to the town centre and farmer's market. There is a ocean side pool with beautiful sunset and possible whale, dolphin sightings. Experienced snorkeler can also snorkel right at the shoreline of the condo, I always see lots interesting fish there. The common BBQ area is above the pool, the regular returning guest and longer term residents always hang out there socialize and watching the ocean.
Our condo offers a private and relaxing setting at top corner with cozy home feel, full kitchen, bath, queen size bed, WiFi and designated parking space. A great place to come back to after exploring what some of the amazing and diverse places the Big Island has for you to experience.

Description: Kitchen is all newly renovated with granite countertops, new cabinets and matching vanity set in a large bathroom with a waterfall faucet. Fully furnished top corner unit with a very private and tranquil setting. There is a Queen sized bed with Nova Gel Memory Foam mattress, additional leather sofa bed, 32 inch Samsung TV, DVD Player, cookware, rice cooker, coffee maker, kettle, dinner ware and cutleries for you to use. There are lots of novels, guide books, body board, and snorkeling gear left from previous guests. High speed internet is available. Coin operated laundry facility in complex. No Smoking and no pet allowed.

Beautiful suite in a desired location

The place was as advertised and had lots of extra amenities. We loved the beach chairs and boogie boards for our beach days. The location is great and walkable to most shops. The host was very quick to reply and made sure we had everything we needed. Would stay here again no problem!

We spent 5 nights in this nice, large and super equipped apartment. We did enjoy our stay, we felt like at home thanks to all the kind attentions, The location is perfect to visit Big Island during the day and come back to see the magnificent sunsets from the swimming pool !! We recommend this very much.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kona. Apartment has great location within walking distance to Kona restaurants. Nice and clean place with everything you need. Even beach gear and snorkeling equipment available. Only remark was a little confusion on WiFi code which was different from the one we were given and gave us some issues logging into our email for finding the code to the door.

A Blessed Return

The property was beautiful. A great central location for my wife and I. We lived on Island for many years and it was so nice to stay so close to so many of our loved ones and yet still close to necessities and play. We enjoyed how quiet the condo is and how much is offered in it. It was very nice to have a full kitchen and all things necessary to cook many of our meals. Such a great trip, and so thankful for this little slice of Heaven. Will definitely be back. Many Mahalos.

Good location

Great location. This is not a five or 4 star resort in case your looking for one. The complex however is quiet and friendly, there was no drama during our stay. The place could’ve been cleaner but an decent effort was made. The curtains on the windows are completely see through so we had to use blankets as curtains for privacy. All and all these are 5 star hosts with 2.5 star accommodations for an overall 3 star rating from these travelers.

Clean and good location, but not much natural light

The condo was very clean, and nicely renovated. The location was convenient. The owners were very responsive to even minor needs, which was great! Kitchen had sufficient dishes etc but no little extras. Unfortunately it’s quite dark (can’t be helped, due to layout) but if you spend the day out, it’s not an issue. We stayed in another condo in the same complex last year which was less expensive and had more amenities, so that was the only negative.

This property was great! Location is awesome and it’s perfect for 2 people. The only odd thing is there was a quarter of a toilet paper roll and an empty paper towel roll for you to use so you basically had to get to the store immediately for those things, also the filtered water pitcher in the fridge actually doesn’t have a filter in it, it’s just for looks, FYI. Also, bring your own pillow, the ones there are flat and stiff. We had a great time exploring Kona, this is a great value for the price, if you don’t mind the little things.

Cute place, very continently located. Had everything that you needed for a great trip! Absolutely no complaints. Host was very responsive to any questions regarding instructions or check in. Beautiful view of the beach by the pool! And would recommend Huggos resturant, a hop, skip, and jump from this place. Food here was amazing!

AC was a godsend as it was very hot the few days we stayed. Towels were clean but smelled musty, as did the comforter. There was no soap or shampoo available; not a big deal but the material in the binder indicated they were included. (I don’t want the host to think I took what was there.) I was hoping for a walkable beachfront, but the description wasn’t misleading. I just didn’t think it would be a beach of large rocks. Glad we made it to Kona and had a place, even if the neighborhood wasn’t walkable (no sidewalks, heavy traffic, not near shops).

Great location for 2 nights. Quiet complex with a reserved parking space. Lots of beach gear available to use on a pretty decent sized patio balcony. AC and fan worked well. Hosts were proactively communicative. We were hoping for basic bathroom amenities (shampoo and body soap) but couldn't find any even after asking host. Information in binder may need some updating. Otherwise, a location close to the airport, restaurants, coffee farms, and snorkeling!

Wonderful!

We loved our time here. Complex was peaceful and a perfect place to retreat to after our island explorations. Especially enjoyed early mornings on the lanai drinking coffee before the sun rose over the volcano. Would absolutely recommend. And definitely would stay again.
