The house was just perfect for our family stay. We had so much space to either be together in one room or spread out to sleep. It was everything we were hoping for!!
My Sisters and I had a great stay at this beautiful home. I will have fond memories of sharing time together in the sun-filled rooms, wrapped up in our blankets, watching the Sun come up over the mountains. The home had everything we needed. Thank you for a comforting spot during a stressful time.
This exquisite piece of history is located in a very safe neighborhood. Contact with the host was seamless and everything was just perfect. Thank you for a beautiful stay. It was a first time visit for our friends to this part of VA. Friendships of 45 years deserve to be celebrated and this home had ample room for us all.
We were in town to attend a family reunion and The Cardinal House was perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 children. The house has a great floor plan with big comfortable spaces and lots of natural light. The bedrooms are all equally nice and having 3 shared bathrooms worked well. We will return!
The Cardinal House was even more charming than the pictures. There were three couples in my group and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lots of space and beautifully decorated. Plenty of parking in the back of house. Very nice quiet neighborhood.
The host was very friendly and accommodating.
We traveled with our family of 4 and father in law to take our eldest to your JMU and UVA. This location was centrally located between the 2 campuses. House was clean and easily accessible. All amenities on site upon arrival so made it super convenient. Perfect retreat! Love the porch swing where we could connect. Great memories and convenient to restaurants.
The cardinal house was fantastic! Great, comfortable rooms, 3 bathrooms. Our group came from 3 different states and the side porch provided a great place to connect. The furnishings are comfy and beautiful.
Parking in the back lot made trips in and out easier than parking down the hill on the street. We had everything we needed. Checkout was the easiest we've every experienced.
What a lovely home! The spacious rooms were well equipped and well decorated. The bathrooms were on the smaller side upstairs but was perfect for the ratio to bedrooms. The patio is a lovely place to sit and visit.
