Adorable neighborhood, felt really safe, close to restaurants, train, and Naval Academy. Beds were comfortable, but upstairs couch/hide away bed really needs replaced, sinks in the middle badly and that is where we spent a lot of our time when there.
Location was perfect for Navy graduation. Cute town very safe neighborhood & beautiful homes. Great restaurants & close to everything. 25 to airport & 10 to Navy base. Great stay, low on disposable items like toilet paper trash bags & no containers for food storage but we did leave some.
We were visiting Chicago for a navy graduation and chose this property. It's location is great. A quiet neighborhood but not too far from the base. The house was nice.

Overall a hotel would have been a better option. This house has solid pictures on the site but they do not show how old and patched together this house is. Sofa is stained and sagging, beds are flimsy and the deck is one step away from a nasty fall (steps sag and the railing is loose). HVAC is bothersome (second floor is hot and the basement is freezing) and the yard isn't fenced....nor was it mowed or the previous many guests pet poop not cleaned up.The good part: kitchen worked so we could cook and it was close to the Naval base. For the price we paid three hotel rooms would have been cheaper and a better overall option...and the hotels have shuttles to the Naval graduation.

Hi Charles, Thank you so much for your helpful feedback. We strive to provide our guests with a 5 star stay and we are so sorry if your experience was anything less. We are truly grateful for the honest feedback and we have gone ahead and replaced the couch at this home so our future guests will be more comfortable! We also have the lawn service on a regular schedule with our landscapers to make sure the grass is taken care of. I can assure any future guests that we have heard from many previous guest how a 4 bedroom home is much more cost effective than hotel. We hope you enjoyed your stay in Libertyville and hope to provide you with a 5 star stay in the future!
Large home and yard for your family to stay in when you come to see your Sailor graduation. The manager promptly responded to any questions or concerns I had and was more than flexible to accommodate some things we requested. Beautiful neighborhood with easy 10 min drive to the base. Beds were super comfortable and everything was clean. Would highly recommend.
Clean and well-maintained, lots of privacy. We had 3 generations staying and everyone felt comfortable, with different spaces for everyone to relax and enjoy. The temperature of the home was easy to keep pleasant, and we had everything we needed to cook, and to visit with our Sailor. It was located near enough to RTC to be convenient for graduation and returning him after liberty. The deck was great to sit in the mornings and the neighborhood was nice to walk around. Super easy to check in and great instructions for check out. Highly recommend!
Hi there. So it was 9 of us and everyone had more than enough space to enjoy ourselves. This is very very nice home in a really quiet neighborhood. This property is only 10 to15 minutes away from Navy graduation, i mean a straight shot ..PERFECT! The next family will not be disappointed at all. Thanks for having us God bless you
We booked this place because it was 10 minites from the naval base. As well, because we could bring our pup! The only things I could say.. is the batteries in the remotes need checked. As well as maybe labeled for which room. They're all the same. A few more towels, and wash clothes. Besides that it was wonderful. Thanks so mich for having us.

Hi Kyra, thank you so much for your helpful feedback! We always make sure our cleaning crew checks that all remotes have batteries and enough linens and towels are left for the number of guests scheduled to arrive. We will make sure they continue to check this for our future guests. We hope to host you again in the future!
This property is in a great quiet neighborhood. It’s a straight drive to Great Lakes Naval Station and easy access to the freeway for whatever your needs are if you plan to do any shopping or entertainment. The house is very clean and exactly as shown on the listing. It has a very nice deck off the back of the house, where we relaxed each night. Our neighbors on each side were very quiet. The neighborhood is well kept and manicured so there is no apprehension about what kind of neighborhood you are staying in. This property had the normal amenities you would expect, clean towels, linen and kitchen stock. Enough room to accommodate a family of 5 or more. Communications with our host was friendly and fast. We had some extra requests that they were very flexible on and easy to deal with. Overall, a great stay and I would recommend this property to friends and family. We would absolutely stay again.

Upon arrival
From the moment I opened the door
The stair casing was full of mud. The kitchen floors were very filthy. The stove and oven looked as if it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks inside the oven food crumbs everywhere!! The sofas and dining room chairs still had food crumbs !! The washroom floors were dirty, the bath tub you could see hairs in them!!! The deck had chalk and toys over it , the deck was big but yet creepy !!! Honestly I spent my first night ordering cleaning supplies to mop floors cleaning both bathrooms sanitizing and cleaning the kitchen and washing linens and towels!!!
This home was definitely not properly cleaned in between guest! Kids must have been here before my stay looks like little dirty hand print all over the walls!!! Not sure if you guys have time to visit the property
But whomever your cleaning person or house keeper is, they are doing a horrible job!! The home is a Gem!! It’s just need to be kept up to part!!!
I contacted management in which they apologized but didn’t have the courtesy to reimburse me the cleaning fee that I was charged prior to arrival!!!

**** STAY AWAY ****I CANNOT stress enough to stay away from this property and ANY property that Sundown Vista rental properties manage. I have traveled for many years and this property by far was the most massive disappointment I have experienced up to this point in my life! The Sunset Vista property management group was just as disappointing! My eFor starters, let's start with the positives. 1. Nice quiet neighborhood.2. The description of the house is correct, the pictures must be older because the walls and furniture on the main level are scuffed up in areas with remnants of tape, oh wait.... ilI was supposed to be talking about the positives! 3. Beds are all foam mattresses and firm. Plenty of towels and toiletries for the house. (We were a group of 5 for 4 days).4.Deck is large. Now for the negativessss....1.Walls are scuffed up with remnants of tape in the kitchen dining area. 2. The upstairs sofa is dirty and the cushions collapse within the frame of the sofa.3.
