Take a short walk up to Twin Lights lighthouse and museum. Walk across the bridge to Sandy Hook explore 7 miles of beach. Great location. Convenient to restaurants/ beaches/ lighthouses/ ferry. Loved hearing the lapping of water while we slept. Lovely dock w chairs to enjoy sunrise and sunset. The house was cozy and perfect f 2 people. Enjoyed watching the boats go by. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again! Our host was responsive, and professional.

Great location!

Our stay was very enjoyable. Neighbors were friendly. We were close to the great restaurants, stores and the ferry which we took to New York. Will definitely be visiting again.

As others have said, the cottage is very clean and very comfortable. The location is stellar too! Larry and Gary were extremely responsive. We all had a lovely time and cant wait to return!

Perfect little 1 bedroom cottage right on the water. Excellent seafood, ice cream, and drinks all a short stroll away. Ample parking. Fishing & kayaking all right there. Easy access to Sandy Hook Beach Park & Sea Bright beaches.

The Cottage

Charming cottage right on the water. Our host made sure we had everything we needed and checked in with us to be sure we did. We had a wonderful vacation and plan on going back again. Highly recommend this cottage!!

My spouse and I stayed at this lovely cottage for 8 days. Gary was most helpful when we had a few questions. The cottage was delightful, very close to many good restaurants which we walked to as well as the wonderful Sandy Hook, National recreation area. Would definitely come again.

It was perfect!

Our stay at Larry’s property was great- it had everything we needed and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. He even mailed our daughters stuffed animal back! Although we stayed in February, I would love to come back in the summer because the view is amazing. Highly recommend staying here!

The cottage in the Highlands is beautiful. It was just right for my Husband and I. The views are beautiful and watching the boats was fun. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The place was very clean and well appointed. The host included a pass to Sandy Hook, which was great. The check in and out was seamless. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Adorable cottage in a great location

The place was exactly as described. Well appointed - everything you need is there. Nice Kitchen, comfy bed, and good sofa bed. Communication with the host was very responsive. There were no checkout details, so I hope we did it right! I would definitely come back to this spot.

Great little cottage

The cottage is very convenient to Sandy Hook beaches and Long Branch. It was walkable to really good restaurants/bars. Neighborhood was quiet but you need to be prepared for the bridge noise (not completely unexpected due to the proximity). The cottage could use a little TLC (fresh paint inside, new shower curtain and a couple of window blinds replaced) but all-in-all a great little place.

Wonderful Waterside Cottage!

Perfect stay for my daughter and me. Such a pretty cottage right on the water with outdoor space, beautiful hardwood floors, new sofa, very comfortable bed, updated kitchen with all we needed (nicer than pictures!), 2 tv's, wifi worked great, clean and quiet in an ideal location. Small beach next door, 8 minute walk across a safe bridge to Sandy Hook beach (dogs are allowed on the bay side of the beach), walk to restaurants, super easy check in and out. We loved our stay, will return, and highly recommend. Thank you, Larry!

Thoughtful Upgrade

We had some problems with the TV and the owners upgraded us to another house on the property. It was beautiful and perfect for us. We will definitely come back again.
