Nice house

Very nice house and neighborhood. Backyard was great and there was a nice little park next door. Less than an hour from Mt. Ranier. Host was great with communication and flexible when our plans changed.

Christmas Stay

The host reached out to advise the prior guest was late to exit the premise therefore, it may not be available at the planned time. We did not care as we were visiting family and we were in no rush to arrive at the rental. Told the host to take their time. The property has a gate but the gate was never closed. The dishwasher was full of clean dishes (no problem) however, we couldn't pull the drawer out to get the dishes out because the spinner at the bottom of the dishwasher was hung up in the bottom (broken). Because of that, we just washed the dishes used each day. After a few days we needed to use the washer. After washing the clothes, we found the dryer full of damp sheets and towels from the prior guests. The refrigerator filter was of need of change. The house could really have used a good cleaning. The floors were quite dirty. The soap in the primary bedroom was not refilled and ran out midweek of our stay. The house is as shown in the pictures however, needs a good overall cleaning. Beware the neighborhood is very loud early in the morning and throughout the evening. The back yard is on a main thoroughfare.
