With a short 20 mile drive to Yellowstone National Park, and endless outdoor activities in Island park, this is the perfect family cabin.

Get a good night sleep with this quiet spacious cabin. Between the 4 private bedrooms, there are 4 Queen beds and one King bed. You're sure to be comfortable. For the little ones, we have two pack N plays, and two sleeping bags. Just added for 2024, a hid-a-bed was added to the movie room in the basement, giving an extra option to spread out. There is also 3 full bathrooms with bathtub and showers. Air-conditioning has been added to the main floor via a wall mounted, economically friendly, ductless mini split. The basement naturally stays cooler during the summer heat. This rustic cabin has a fantastic view of Sawtell Mountain as you arrive. Then enjoy the endless recreational activities in the area. Free high speed WiFi is included with your stay. Just in-case business has to be mixed with pleasure. Streaming multiple devices has not been an issue.

Ohh no the kids got dirty. Don't worry this vacation getaway has you covered with a washer and dryer available in the cabin for your use. Yep laundry detergent is included as well.

Along with 2100 sq feet of living space there is a spacious garage to park in. Between the garage and the driveway space for four vehicles is provided. Parking on the road is not permitted. HOA rules. Located in the garage is a pool table to enjoy.

Grilling is encouraged. A gas grill is provided on the patio at the back of the cabin. Bring your favorite seasonings and grill that perfect steak, fish, or sweet corn!

Speaking of the back patio, seating for 6 is provided on the outdoor table. Bring your favorite card game and enjoy the view. We do keep some games at the cabin for your enjoyment.

Watch for golf balls! The back yard of this cabin is located on the golf course. The back yard is a favorite place to sit and enjoy the cool evening air. Play card games and enjoy dining on the back patio. And of course, if you golf, bring your clubs and play the 9 hole course. Please please, do not climb on the fence in the back yard, it is old and well, its scheduled to be replaced fall of 2025.

We care about your safety!
We do contactless hosting. You will be provided with a code that is active for the time you are here. Door codes are changed with each guest to protect privacy and the property. This property does have steps to get in and out of the property. Steps from the garage to the house are steep. Security cameras are used on the property. A Ring camera on the front porch, and a camera on the back patio from the back door. Recordings are able to be accessed by the owners of the property. No cameras are located in the house.

This location has less traffic than other areas as it is off the main roads in a small subdivision. Birdies Nest is a great place to gather, relax, and unwind from daily life. There is a beautiful view of Sawtell Mountain from the cabin.
WiFi is fast and available free of charge. New fiber optic internet service has been installed. Enjoy speeds up to 100 Mbps. The front bedroom has a table and chair for those that have to do a little work, with the play.
The best of the outdoors is right here, with trails to hike, one of a kind shows at the Yellowstone Playhouse, ATV trails, and of course, Yellowstone National Park. And yes Yellowstone is open and accessible from the West, South, and East entrances. Please check the National parks official website for the most accurate and updated information.
