Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. This 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom property is great for relaxing. Located right on the Muskingum River with a beautiful waterfront view. Outdoor deck is great for cooking on the grill, and entertaining. Tv and wifi for after hour relaxation. Fishing is allowed with Ohio Fishing License. Firepit for great conversation! Pets are welcome!

Charming and cozy older cabin was right on the water with beautiful views. Decor was very inviting and our stay was very restful. It was exactly what we needed. Bathroom was exceptionally clean.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, celebrating our 16th anniversary. We were a little disappointed. This is the fist time ever that we couldn't wait to leave. The description is pretty accurate but leaves out a few things. It doesn't have city water (which is fine but there's a sign above the kitchen sink that says its not drinkable) and in their welcome book it said they have drinkable water delivered. However they didn't say where it was. The view was beautiful!!! A flood had washed up a bunch of debris and the fire pit and water access was covered/blocked. There is kayaks available but they also had debris and mud caked in and all over them. We would have had to clean them and move lots of debris plus 2 very large trees/branches.

The riverview is really beautiful and we were really looking forward to doing some fishing and using the boats on the property. Even brought our own inflatable in case we couldn't use theirs. However the only safe entry and exit to the river was completely blocked by a fallen tree and other debris. The only place to fish is from on top of the rock or your going to snag a tree and if you catch anything large, your not going to get it up that high. The water pump in the house is EXTREMELY loud and a bit terrifying. I almost jumped out of my skin the first time it kicked on. Dont flush the toilet in the middle of the night or you'll wake the whole house. The plastic mattress covers are awful. Sheet pops off with any movement. Had to tie them in knots just to get any sleep. Didn't like not having curtains or blinds on that glass door either. Felt creepy at night in unfamiliar territory. The movies would have been nice to watch but there was no place to plug in the dvd player without unplugging other things that you need. Ice trays in the freezer would be nice because we couldn't get the ice maker to work. This was also the first place I've ever stayed that didn't have any coffee. I used to bring my own but everywhere has always had it. Lesson learned. Cleaning up the riverside and making a few adjustments would make this place a little treasure but because of all the small displeasures it wasn't a very enjoyable experience.

Accurate description, except parking was pretty tight. Beautiful scenery, very peaceful location. Tub was great, local folks are super friendly, kitchen was well appointed, bed in master was very comfortable. I went for P&Q and found it. I intended to fish, but didn't really get around to it, but the fish were jumping. Made new friends at the local Moose lodge. Great place to stay for a decompression weekend. Would be great for a quiet romantic escape as well.

Great clean accommodations!

Really enjoyed the accommodations and the check in / out process was hassle free. Great communication from host. Fishing sucked but it had nothing to do with the property. The cars really fly up and down the two-lane road so be careful with little ones or dogs. I look forward to staying here again!!

The setting is beautiful. There isn't much parking. We barely fit a pi kup truck and a compact car in. It's listed as pet friendly, but there is no yard. The home itself was okay.Some of the flooring was loose. and the propane heater was not working, so it got pretty cold in the living room.

My husband, my mother, my pups and I stayed here. Pet friendly, plenty of room, and amenities. When I had a question the owner was quick and friendly with her responses. Clean property. I would definitely stay here again!

The host was very welcoming & nice quick to respond but not very helpful during my stay! The view was AMAZING but that's pretty much all you're paying for. Cleanliness wasn't the best, dead bugs in all the windows on & around. Not all the windows would close completely & the main door did not close correctly, all of these things made it extremely cold! Hot tub did NOT hold a temp over 85 for 3 nights! I didn't even get to use it & the maintenance was "out of town" when we would use the toaster oven provided with the TV on and the electric fireplace it would cause a breaker to pop, good thing I knew how to reset it! Cute little cabin maybe for the summertime! Should not be listed for the winter months! Also there wasn't a microwave.

Very relaxing

The cabin was clean, and the air conditioning great. It rained but the covered deck made it possible to sit outside and relish in the beautiful views of the river. We saw an eagle fly overhead and land in a tree across the river. Was quite surprised that there wasn't more wildlife. Spiders (brown recluse and others) and wasps were a bit of a nuisance, the deck and outside area could use a good sweeping. Overall...it was just what we needed, a nice place to kick back, relax and enjoy the outdoors. Thank you !!!
