**RATE: $80/per person, per night** 'Redwood Rest,' located in central Boonville directly behind the historic Boonville Hotel; only 5 minute walk to restaurants, tasting rooms, and art galleries (just off highway 128). Anderson Valley supports over fifty vineyards and wineries, with one thousand acres of wine in production. Thirteen of these wineries have tasting rooms, including world class Roederer Estate, all within a ten minute drive from Boonville. Also home of the legendary 'Boonville Beer' which is served at the Buckhorn Saloon and restaurant - a two minute walk from 'Redwood Rest.' Hendy Woods State Park, with its two majestic groves of old growth redwoods is minutes away and a wonderful place to visit and hike its trails.
If you are desiring a quiet respite from the noise and traffic of urban living; Anderson Valley with its scenic views, wildlife, redwoods, and vineyards is the place to be! A tranquil getaway for biking, lunch, picnics or wine tasting. Vintagee wine tours located in town is a safe and convenient way to visit the tasting rooms located in the area.
