Great cabin
Our family had a wonderful time. We liked the location of being about 20 minutes out of the town of McCall. My grandkids really enjoyed floating the river and canoeing.
Loved the access to the river and the outdoor spaces to play games. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils for a large group.

Great family location
The location is perfect, right in-between Brundage & Tamarack ski resorts, it's right on a river (so the scenery was beautiful), there is a little hill that kids can sled down (my kids loved it), the house was fun (although it could use some updating), and the hosts were wonderful!
This trip was a family reunion trip and we all loved this place and could come back.

Family reunion
The location of the property is lovely so peaceful and private. the views incredible. Lots of games played the mosquitoes had a few games of their own over all I think we won! fishing and hiking as well.. Will do again in a couple of years.. Book ahead for sure.
Beautiful scenery and very interesting decor. Had wonderful time with family, but there were some conditions that were disappointing for $1000+/day.
Access to river unsafe (steep unstable rocks with no handrail) therefore no ability to launch canoe from property. One bedroom ceiling light inoperable. One grandchild awakened by mouse walking on legs. Inability to take showers if lawn sprinklers on. Electric stove warning light always on. Indoor defects (Mice, water, BR light and stove defects) all known about by property manager prior to arrival.
The items committed about above did not significantly effect our stay
It will be long remembered for the family escape from Covid-19 in such a beautiful location.

Response from VrboOwner on 19 July 2021
Owner’s Response: “George,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. I do want to address your comments so that folks know that we are working on correcting these items. Unfortunately, we do not have an appliance company in the region, so I have contacted a repair company to address our stove issue that shows a burner is hot all the time. I am so sorry you did not see our canoe/raft access just beyond the beach area to launch your canoes. I would have more than happily show you, but it does bring to mind that we could put up some signage to help with that. I take total responsibility for the fanlight that doesn’t work, I need to disassemble and I have not had time between guests to get that resolved. I will work on that next week. As for the mice, we try to keep mice out of the house, but unfortunately, not all guests keep the doors closed and are located next to the river and surrounded by cattle fields, on occasion we have to deal with getting them out of the house. We have corrected the issue to date and have no more signs of activity in the house.
Again, we hope to accommodate you in the future and thank you for staying with us.
Belinda”

Family Reunion
We have stayed at this property two years in a row. The outside amenities are great with access to the river being the highlight. The lawn areas are large enough for a variety of outside games.
The property manager was very helpful in setting up the WiFi service for the two clean and comfortable extension rooms in the separate building from the main lodge.
The interior of the main lodge was a disappointment as cleanliness, missing floor covering in the basement, and limited toilet paper supplies being frustrations.
The increase in price from 2021 to 2022 (+~25%) was a big surprise and is a deterrent to future use.

Perfect Summer Location
Perfect location for our 50th anniversary. Lovely huge lawn for evening family games...lazy river for tubing and swimming...two decks for lounging and soaking in the outstanding scenery...mown fire pit pasture for our RC car races....three family living spaces to spread out in...and a LONG dining table to eat together. The only thing that would have made it better was more days together.
The house(Lodge) is older so it's not perfect but everything was clean. You can see a million stars at night, watch bats catch mosquitos, gaze at the moonlight reflecting off the river or listen to the leaves rustle in the afternoon breezes. You won't hear cars here...only cows....or the sound of happy laughter. The house rep was always available and always helpful and always kind. Thank you, No Business Lodge, for being everything we hoped for.
Amazing property and extremely accommodating to a large family reunion like ours. Plenty of space for our 22 person retreat in the mountains. Great location for winter activities around the area. Highly recommend for any large group looking to escape into the winter wonderland of Idahos beautiful mountains!
Nice cabin atmosphere , plenty of space for our entire family. Kids loved snowmobiling in the surrounding fields and enjoyed the use of the hot tub. Overall a really enjoyable experience and would definitely rent again.
A perfect location for our extended family retreat with plenty of space and incredible outdoor activities for all of us. The river is wide and slow near the house. We spent many hours floating the river and relaxing as well as playing together on the lawn. There was plenty of space for all to get a good night’s rest and make delicious meals in the well-stay coed kitchen.
Belinda and Tim were very helpful and it was a great comfort knowing that if something went wrong they were there to help us. The weather was great and my grandchildren are still talking about what a great time they had. We will plan another trip at the no business lodge. Monte
We required a place to sleep 25 and a facility that could accommodate a reunion party of over 50...ages 1-73. This location was perfect. Great weather allowed full access to the floating and fishing of the Payette River, just a few steep steps from the cabin deck. The lawn and field space was perfect for mutliple yard games, dining tables and general sitting and visiting. Bedrooms were great. The bunkhouse was a hit with the grandkids! The garage served very well for a staging area for outside cooking and food services.
All in all, this was a wonderful location to hold a family gathering and maintain "social distancing" from the general public.
We loved it so much we have already booked a return visit for same time next year.
MAny thanks to Belinda and Tim for their help during our stay.
This house was excellent for our snowmobiling group. Being able to snowmobile from the house was great! Also, the house had a ton of room for our 4 families to enjoy.
Our group had such a fun time at the NoBusinessLodge. The lodge was perfect for a big group- everyone had beds. The pool/bar room was so fun and perfect to hang out in. We shot the BB gun, went on walks along the river and had a fire on the property. So much fun, we’ll be back!

Beautiful Views
Overall this is a great rental. There were a few things we wish we would have known before renting. The caretakers live just a few yards from the house which isn't a problem, but we felt like we were being watched. We rented this venue specifically for the bar only to learn when we arrived after purchasing 2 kegs that the keg cooler didn't work and can not be repaired. Also, there was a bar stool missing that just had the metal leg sticking up which was a hazard. We had to put the kegs in front of it so no one would get hurt.
The house needs a good deep cleaning. There was so much dust on the mirror in the master bedroom that you could write you name on it.
This place is truly amazing. The views are magnificent and the house is huge and very comfortable. I think it just needs a little TLC.

Everything I've dreamed of and more!
The property is beautiful and has a stunning view. It was large enough to sleep our entire wedding party and then some. There is also plenty of room for tent camping, which was available at no charge. Belinda and Alex were easy to work with and made sure that things ran smoothly through the whole day of the wedding. We enjoyed hanging out in the bar area shooting pool, lots of time fishing, and sitting out just taking in the views. Really hoping to come back again! No business lodge will always hold a special place in our hearts.

What a beautiful setting to enjoy family and fun!
The No Business Lodge is the perfect place for our family to get together. There were 20 of us, 5 families who enjoyed the river and the surrounding area. NBL has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is close to McCall for trips into town. Also close to hiking and enjoying the river during the hot July days. Every night the kids and adults played games on the lawn and had a fire in one of the fire pits. The quiet setting provides a perfect get away yet not far from recreation or grocery stores. Belinda, the manager, is kind and accommodating to every need. We will return next year.

Stunning!
We reserved the NBL for our daughter's wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect! We had the rehearsal and wedding festivities there, and many of the wedding party and out of town guests were able to stay there. It's so spacious! And the views are breathtaking..... Thank you Belinda, and all the wonderful vendors from the area!
