Experience the Great Smoky Mountains from beautiful historic downtown Gatlinburg. The panoramic beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains is for all seasons; majestic mountains, rolling streams, and Gatlinburg's famous city lights will make your visit unforgettable.

Our unit at Oak Square Condominiums has two bedrooms with King bed in master bedroom and queen bed in the guest room. The fully-equipped kitchen has beautiful oak cabinets, two -burner cook surface, microwave, refrigerator , and coffee maker. The living room has a nice sleeper sofa and one nice recliner for relaxing while enjoying the woodburning fireplace. Also, this condominium has three flatscreen Cable TVs all with with DVD's . The condominium building has two convenient elevators and luggage carts for guest use.

We are located in DOWNTOWN Gatlinburg accross the street from the famous aerial tramway that goes to Ober Gatlinburg and minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Walk to anywhere from our location and find wonderful restaurants, endless shopping, the Gatlinburg Aquarium, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and much more! If you do not want to walk, take the popular Gatlinburg Trolley, it stops right at our door and will take you to countless places in Gatlinburg, the National Park, and Pigeon Forge.

There were no drapes in the bedrooms and you could see around the blinds. The mattresses were like sleeping on bare springs. The shower head in the master was loose in the wall and the shower faucet knobs were moldy. The whole condo felt like there was a film of grime on everything. The kitchenette set up is very hodge podge and has two stove tops and takes away from counter space. It depends on your expectations, but we spend a lot of time out hiking so a comfortable bed, nice shower are a must, but I expect privacy and cleanliness and this condo completely missed the mark. The indoor and outdoor pools were nice, location is great and check in and communication were great. But I can’t say that we would stay in this condo again.

Condo’s location is great. It and the complex are a bit dated. Hot water heater is a bit small for anyone with over three guests. Nice place for what we needed.

Perfect Getaway

The condo was perfect for our family of 6 over the Thanksgiving holiday. Location is perfect and you can walk to anything in Gatlinburg! The building is dated but the inside of the condo was nice. Owners were great! We would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect! Close to everything we wanted, easy to find, and easy to park. The condo was very clean, plenty of room for the three of us, beds were comfortable, and water pressure in the showers was awesome!!! We had a great time!! Definitely would stay again!

Not up to basic hotel standards

Light fixtures without lightbulbs. Holes in wall with exposed pipes showing. Shades not sufficient to keep downtown lights out of bedrooms. Unrealistic requirements to wash own dishes and take out garbage to dumpster.. General upkeep maintenance was poor, felt like was in a 2 star hotel.

Easy access to everything

Easy rental access online and we were able to make a change for our stay. The app works well. The location was perfect. The facility could use a good power wash and painting. Our condo definitely was in need of cosmetic repairs and cleaning. Everything worked as it should. The building looks old and tired compared to others in the area. We didn’t do any cooking other than the microwave. Easy access to plenty of restaurants and activities.

What a great experience!

I truly can not say enough about this whole experience! The owner of the property offered the best communication that I have ever experienced!! Very responsive and great to work with. The property itself is super cute and very comfy. We felt very safe and the check in and out process is a dream! Having the options for an indoor and outdoor pool is a great perk of this location. Not to mention how central the condo is to EVERYTHING! The unit has everything you need for a little getaway and the beds are very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is AMAZING, I was pleasantly surprised! Yes the while building is dated, but you really don't feel that in this unit. I will definitely stay again. Thanks Verlon for everything!

Stay here with your eyes open

The owners are nice along with the prospect of 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. However, the unit needs to have a lot of TLC. Every wall has marks or something that needs to be repaired. Ceilings are water stained. All of the furniture looks like from a nice thrift store. If you plan on cooking, there is a single small pan and a pasta pot. The cold water pressure is almost nil. If you like sleeping on marshmallows, you will. Be prepared, bring what you need. There are no sidewalks on your side of river road either. But the location is convenient for walking and using the trolley. Unit really needs to be renovated.

Great weekend trip to Gatlinburg

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It is an older building, but its location cannot be beat. You are literally downtown, right smack in the action. You will not have to fight (and pay!) for parking for your dining and entertainment in town because everything is steps away. The location alone is worth a premium. The Ober Tram is within walking distance, too, so if you are skiing or visiting the mountain, you are all set. The unit itself is very clean and tidy. It's exactly as pictured. The beds were comfy, and we had everything we needed. Verlon was very communicative and gave us plenty of lead time with the info we needed for check-in. I see one reviewer had trouble with the master bed height. We did not have this problem. I am 5'9", for reference, and my 10-year-old hopped right up with no problems, too. Speaking of kids, my kids thoroughly enjoyed the indoor heated pool. We were in town for snowboarding, but it was a treat for them to say they were swimming in January. We also saw the outdoor pool but did not use it for obvious reasons. It looked nice though, and like it would make for a nice retreat in the warmer months. Overall I would definitely recommend this condo, and we would stay here again next time we head that way. Our family of four found it to be exactly what we were looking for.

Great Location

We were staying here, because we were attending The Gaither Family Fest. Perfect location to the Gatlinburg Convention Center. We walked there all 3 days without a problem. No hills to walk up. The place was over all clean. But needs a deep clean, behind furniture a lot of dust bunnies. The woodwork in the bathroom was caked with dust. But I would not hesitate to stay her again. It is a fourth floor condo, but the elevators are fast. Lots of carts to move your stuff to and from the car. Pools looked nice but didn’t use them. Parking was good.
