Magical Clarion County Church Renovation

A very romantic space! The perfect atmosphere for the writer or artist.The large, open great room is inviting for yoga and exercise practice. A former church, this renovation has maintained a peaceful and meditative quality.A good place to make or listen to music. .Small back porch with a table and chairs.,Dogs are very welcome and the back porch area has a fenced in area they seem to like!!!!.Pretty bathroom with shower. The kitchen counter was once the counter in the old country store in the village of Lawsonham.The woodwork is beautiful and the high ceilings give one the feeling of freedom .The many windows invite the outside in. Come and rest a while, create, enjoy! So very close to the Lawsonham Rails to Trails entrance.Great opportunity for hiking and bicycling.!

Rosemary and her spot are delightful. She was welcoming and kind and the cottage is just delightful. Ive stayed here before and I'll stay here in the future. Honestly i couldn't imagine a more perfect escape from the city.

The Host Mary was very accommodating and very easy to deal with. She welcomed my Standard Poodles!! We loved the location and the beautiful serenity of the environment. We found everything we needed. Wifi worked great, some phone service doesn't work, but I didn't mind the break!! I would stay there again.

This amazing place was exactly what I needed. I had a long weekend "silent solo retreat" and all I did was play with all my neglected art supplies. It was a beautiful and peaceful place and I'm so glad I found it. I am looking forward to coming back.

Perfect Getaway

Great space. Outside was quiet relaxing. We saw a bear our first night, then deer and bunnies. The stars were beautiful and lightening bugs were in full affect. Inside provided a cool atmosphere and was welcoming. Beautiful renovation!

Everything about our stay was outstanding! The house was unique, comfortable, well-equipped and relaxing. The location is quiet and relatively secluded, with friendly little towns and great food just a short hop in any direction. Just an all-around great experience!

My husband and I needed to get away from the stress of work and the city and this place helped restored our spirits. This cool renovated former church oozes charm with an added bonus of having a long and fascinating history. Check in was very easy and the host Mary could not have been more nicer and accommodating! We enjoyed our stay so much and would definitely stay again. It’s peaceful and quiet with plenty of privacy and there is a town that’s very close by. There is also access to a hiking/walking trail one minute down the road. We took a 3 hour walk and it was very serene. We even saw 4 turkey vultures flying around which was cool to see. Overall we recommend this place if you need a peaceful quiet getaway where you can surround yourself with nature while staying in a fascinating historical former church.

Great accommodations

Mary was an excellent host and the sweetest woman. She called us before our arrival so she could meet us there and let us in, then called again just as we were about to leave to wish us safe travels. The entire property is gorgeous and well kept. Will definitely book this one again.
