Serenity Sauna Retreat - Blocks from Downtown

“Serenity” is your group’s private vacation home and wellness retreat in the coveted Historic Cathedral District just block from downtown Sioux Falls. Enjoy this home’s 4 levels, including gym and sauna, private back yard, and ideal location! This beautiful historic 4-bedroom, 2-bath home boasts all the modern amenities and comforts like high-speed WiFi, central A/C, and smart locks.

Each level is designed to meet a different need and curated to offer an unique experience:

GATHER on the beautiful main level. Enjoy your morning coffee rocking on the big front porch. Step inside to play a board game or curl up with book in the light and bright living room. Enjoy the full kitchen featuring a gas range and a Ninja coffee bar equipped for 13 different brew sizes and 4 different styles. Latte anyone? Gather around the custom-made farmhouse dining table for meals. Work at the office desk to take care of business.

REJUVENATE on the lower level’s spa-like environment. Keep up with your wellness routine or start a new one downstairs in your own cool gym and yoga studio. Pamper yourself with all the wellness benefits of the brand new 4-person infrared sauna with Bluetooth and chromotherapy! Don’t miss the state-of-the-art spin bike with built in trainings. This level also has a full bathroom and the laundry room.

Back upstairs, REST in any of the 2nd level’s 3 bedrooms curated for comfort. Get your best night’s sleep on a luxurious award-winning mattress from Sioux-Falls-based Juna Sleep Systems. Prep or soak in the tub in the large full bathroom. You’ll also find essentials like toiletries, a Pack-N-Play crib, first aid kit, and extra pillows provided.

On the top level, BE ENTERTAINED in the bonus theatre room. Movie Night is a must with the 100-inch projector screen, Yamaha sound system, and comfy seating (the giant bean bag sofa is so cozy you’ll want to sleep there too). You’ll also find the nature-themed 4th bedroom up here, with two twin beds. Finally, have epic tournaments on the 5-in-1 foosball table/pool table/game table.

Finally PLAY in the fenced backyard, with a firepit perfect for s’mores or grilling. And don’t forget South Dakota’s favorite pastime, Cornhole.

The entire vacation home, yard, and on site parking. We are currently using the detached garage for storage.

Serenity is in the heart of the Cathedral Historic District, listed as one of the best neighborhoods in the entire United States. It is a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood, yet just blocks from downtown's fabulous restaurants and night life. Also within walking distance are the Japanese Gardens, Pettigrew Museum, the Washington Pavilion, and of course the Cathedral of Saint Joseph. It's a 5 minute drive to Falls Park, the most photographed place in Sioux Falls and home of free concerts throughout the summer. The Sanford Pentagon, the Sanford Sports Complex, and the airport all an incredibly convenient 10-minute drive to the north, while both Avera and Sanford Hospitals, Augustana University, and golf are less than 10 minutes to the south.

Parking is located near the back of the building near the fence and garage which is posted and designated for guest parking. Additionally, there is ample parking located along the street!

This home has four-stories, so keep in mind there are a lot of stairs.

* Quiet time after 11 p.m
* There must be no illegal substances used on the property
* The guest who made the reservation is liable for ensuring that each person in the reservation complies with the rules.
* Please follow the smoking policy. If we discover a smoke odor after you check out, we will charge you $250 for a smoke cleanup.
* You may be invoiced for replacement costs if any towels or sheets are permanently damaged or gone.
* Please park in a garage or driveway. Only front-of-house parking is permitted on the street. Do not park in front of other people's houses.
* Guests and visitors should comply with the parking regulations and requirements and must show consideration to other vehicles in the neighborhood.
* Please don't eat or drink in the bedrooms.
* As a guest, treat our home with the same decency as if you were staying with a close friend or relative. We value common decency.
* Please pick up any trash, spills, and dropped goods. Even though we try to emulate a five-star hotel, everyday cleaning service is not included. Please let us know if you would like to hire a cleaning service during your visit for an extra cleaning cost.
* Before every guest, we inventory the linens and furniture. If anything is missing when you check out, we'll file a claim with Airbnb to get the replacement cost back from the main guest.
