Welcome to our breathtaking Colorado mountain retreat, complete with a private hot tub and awe-inspiring views! Perched on nearly an acre of wooded mountain terrain at an elevation of over 8,000 feet, this modern and spacious home offers an ideal combination of comfort, seclusion, and convenience for your vacation.

Just a 40-minute drive west of Colorado Springs, our home is easily accessible via well-maintained roads and is conveniently close to the charming town of Florissant. A generously sized gravel driveway welcomes you, leading to the expansive deck that serves as the gateway to this inviting mountain getaway.

Living Spaces
Upon entry, you'll be greeted by a warm and open-concept design. The main living area seamlessly connects the living room, dining room, and kitchen, creating a perfect space for entertaining or relaxing after exploring the mountain surroundings. The living room features a cozy sectional and a large TV, while the dining area offers seating for six at a tasteful table.

Bedrooms
Venture down the hall to discover three of the four bedrooms. The primary bedroom provides royal king comfort, a separate chaise lounge, and a plush sofa-chair. A spacious private bathroom enhances the overall experience. Two additional bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed, share a welcoming bath with an upright walk-in soaking tub. Quality surfaces such as tile, granite, and travertine ensure a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

Kitchen
The bright and spacious kitchen is a culinary haven, boasting stainless steel appliances, a gas cooktop, quality wooden cabinetry, and ample counter space. Enjoy the scenic views through the perfectly placed sink-window as you prepare delicious meals.

Lower Level
The lower level offers separate entertaining and living spaces. Two sofas, foosball, and another TV with various programming options create a relaxed environment. The fourth bedroom, featuring a queen bed, is accompanied by an additional shower and a full laundry for guest use.

We cannot guarantee an early check-in before 4 pm as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please message us on the day of your arrival to see if the property is ready no earlier than 2pm.

*Check-in Process: All guests will need to complete our secure, online ID Verification process to receive the door code and check-in instructions. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. Welcome to beautiful Florissant in the Rocky Mountains, about 40 minutes west of Colorado Springs.

Florissant is a great location for outdoorsy folk, as the town is surrounded by opportunities for hiking, hunting, fishing, rafting, ziplining, skiing, snowshoeing, and much more. In less than 30 minutes, you can easily reach a wide variety of parks, peaks, canyons, lakes, and open spaces, not to mention once-in-a-lifetime views and photo-worthy geological wonders.

In the immediate area, you’ll find two notable attractions. The Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument (6 minutes) offers hours of hiking enjoyment with nature trails and outdoor exhibits, including a trail that leads through the beds of ancient Lake Florissant and passes giant petrified redwood tree stumps. The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center is a non-profit sanctuary for wolves and wild canines that offers guided tours.

The small center of Florissant provides some casual dining options, including an (exceptionally good) restaurant/brewery — The Iron Tree & Funky Town Brewery. You’ll find additional dining options plus shopping, including a supermarket, in nearby Divide, a 15-minute drive away.

*Type of Cooling for the Home
2 mini-split AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees, it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summertime, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness.

*Reminders About the Property
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of with urgency and care.
