About this property
Alberta Arts Treehouse
With great restaurants, bars and coffee shops just steps away, this bright and airy little house will be the perfect jumping off point for your stay in beautiful Portland Oregon.
Within a few block from your front door, there are Expatriate’s wonderful cocktails, Gabbiano's hand made pasta, Great North Coffee, FlourMarket, Vegan offerings at Jet Black coffee, and the lovely vibrancy of the Alberta Arts District.
Make yourself at home in the newly constructed, two-story lofted space. This striking little grey house is perched between backyards with your own entrance right off a quiet neighborhood street. The space inside is open and airy, with cement floors downstairs and dark Tennessee walnut hardwood upstairs. If you’d like, utilize the fully equipped chef’s kitchen, the comfortable & stylish sofa couch, and every amenity necessary for a relaxing getaway in the heart of NE Portland.
Downstairs provides sitting room, a gorgeous half bathroom, and a well-appointed kitchen should you choose to cook. Enjoy the bottle of wine in the fridge – I made it at the winery where I work.
Upstairs feels like a charming tree house. The old mimosa tree wraps around almost the entirety of the bedroom, and the skylights capture natural light. The bed is new & comfy, the closets offer generous storage space, and the windows are large and open up easily to fresh air outside. The upstairs bathroom is spacious with gleaming white tiles, fresh white towels, and a walk-in overhead shower.

Why they chose this property
Alberta Arts District has a storied, turbulent past that coalesced into a remarkable place to live and work. We have the best neighbors, old and new, of many ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. While we live in a city, our little corner of Portland is vibrant and has everything you could need. There are so many fantastic restaurants, art studios, and parks. Kids run down the street to hang out with friends and to the grocery store, or ride their bikes to one of the many parks in the neighborhood. It has all the amenities of living in the city with a cozy neighborhood feel.
What makes this property unique
This home was constructed in 2016 by Craig Seppa (A neighbor and fantastic builder). It's light and bright, minimal and airy, with vintage touches throughout. It's perfect for couples or small families hoping to use the space as a home base for your Portland adventures!
