This is what guests have said about our Homestead Refuge package. It is so much more than just staying in a camper. There are things for everyone, from kids to adults to do and learn, all while unplugging and relaxing in the country.

Welcome to our hobby farm retreat where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet on our homestead. We have a 2023 Heartland Pioneer 250 bunkhouse camper that has a bathroom with a shower and full kitchen. It is perfect for a family of up to 6. You will have plenty of outdoor space to enjoy nature in every season and experience all the sights and sounds around the homestead. We love hosting families on our mini farm and getting to know new friends around the camp fire. We have many seasonal things on our farm that can only be experienced for a short time.
January-March baby goats are being born and garden prep begins
March-May baby chicks and turkeys are being born
June-October fresh fruit and vegetables in the garden
October-November live animal butchering and processing

You will have full access to our camper with only the front storage access limited to our personal items. You will also have access to the above ground swimming pool in the summer from mid May to late September and the wood fire heated hot tub year round. There is plenty to do with the kids around the 16 acre farm or have a romantic weekend with lots of privacy. We have a wiffel ball/kickball field that doubles as a soccer field and has a 250 foot zip line coming through it. There are plenty of trails to hike on and we also have a small pond. You will have access to a creek that borders the property and is perfect for kids to catch crawdads and tadpoles in the summer.
