The house was beautiful and so was the area . The host had a good response time. One big downside the listing says you have the whole house and fair warning someone lives downstairs. You do not have the whole house to yourself.

The listing says it is the whole home. This house has with two separate homes in it. Both are short term rentals. There is no joint space or joint access. No one lives downstairs. It is a rental.

The host was great. She ensured I was given all the information she thought was necessary. The design of the house is very strange, you enter the main door and then proceed to have to go through a bedroom to continue on. The kitchen could be stocked better with cookware and some of the cooking utensils and dishes had to be washed before use. The house is big and cold. Hard tile floors dont make that better. Probably wont stay there again.

Fun for the whole family.

The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The family really enjoyed playing pool, board games, and watching movies when we weren’t out swimming at Lava Hot Springs. The kids thought it was pretty cool to be staying at “an airport” with real planes in the garage. It was fun!

Easter weekend

We all had a great time. The home was perfect and had beautiful views. We even had visitors in the mornings of the 4 legged type and my grandson was so exited to see them and stated he always wanted a deer to poop on his lawn 😂

Pros:The location - Secluded, but only about 6 or 7 minutes from Main Street. The view was beautiful!The size - It fit our party of 7 just fine.Towels - plenty of towels and linens.Washer/Dryer - had laundry detergent and dryer sheets and worked well.Kitchen - Had all the plates, cups, bowls we needed.Cons:Shared space - There may or may not be people staying in the basement. We saw people, but not for very long, but when we booked, it stated "Entire House", so that was a little confusing. We brought our kids back inside.Queen room w/ 1 bed - Did not have a vent, AC unit, or even a window with a screen to keep it open. It was HOT, we woke up drenched in sweat! We had to sleep with the doors open for air flow which meant we were up early with the kids. Bring a fan if you plan on using that room in warmer weather.Water pressure - It was a dribble. We made it work, but it was kind of a pain.Misc.:- there were no batteries in the ROKU remotes, so we had to go buy some.- the TV remote was found during day 2, it was under the couch cushion.- no propane for the grill and the town did not have any tanks to buy.- We didn't use the pool or ping pong table, but that was a fun option. Just note that is it is also the dining table.We might stay there again if we need an inexpensive place to stay in Lava Hot Springs again.
