This place was a perfect getaway in quiet Milton, NY. Located adjacent to Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa, the house was clean, well stocked and perfect for our group.
My fiancé and I really enjoyed our quaint stay in this home. It had everything we needed and the backyard was a great feature. It was nice to be in a more rural setting but also have plenty to do an easy drive away. My only callout is I’m glad there weren’t people staying on the other side of the house the whole time we were there, as it could get loud with it being an older home.
Had a relaxing 3 days at this lovely property. Clean, nicely decorated, good size, good amenities and yard space for the dog. Try the cider/brewery nearby.
We enjoyed a lovely stay at this property! The unit was very clean, decorated nicely and perfect for my husband & I. The yard & scenery are absolutely beautiful.
It was the perfect retreat on a hill. The stay was perfect for disconnecting and resetting mentally. The host was always available to assist with any questions or concerns.
Sadly we had to cut our stay short by a day, but the little time we spent at the apartment was great. Very comfortable and warm. And a short walk to the cute town of Milton, where we had a few great meals.
This is the perfect place for us to stay while visiting parents in Highland. It's a lovely, well accoutered home. Very comfortable for two or three adults. The grounds are quiet and beautiful.
Hunter’s home is absolutely spectacular! We rented both sides in order to celebrate Thanksgiving with some elderly family members. Great communication and beautiful property. I would definitely want to stay here again.
Spent a long weekend here, and had a great time! Property is a very convenient location for heading over to Poughkeepsie or up to Kingston, or even just walking around the immediate area. Everything was perfectly clean and the atmosphere in the unit was perfectly cozy. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway!
We live locally, but needed to be out of our house while work was being done. The unit was roomy and comfortable, and the owner was very responsive and helpful. We love the Milton area.
Perfect for my short solo stay in Hudson. The space is just beautiful and the property is very well-equipped and maintained. Hunter was a very responsive and thoughtful host. Will definitely be booking again!
Great location if you're visiting the area, close to a lot of cideries and local attractions. Very comfortable property, clean and cozy. Comfy bed, good water pressure. Kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook dinner, in addition to the grill and fire pit. Bucolic and peaceful stay.
Nice property and very clean. Would benefit from darker privacy window coverings and a bathroom vent. Kitchen was well furbished and the Kcup pods were appreciated!
The place is amazing, very, very clean, the only thing that bother the heck out of me was no privacy cause curtains are completely see thru, other wise great, my hubby and I stay in the little apartment on side and our kids and grandkids stay in big house which was absolutely beautiful
Great proximity to family, right across from Buttermilk Falls Inn and Spa which allows people to ramble around (it's beautiful - visit there). VRBO is a nice property, well decorated place, fully useful kitchen, multiple streaming services on the TV. The only knock I had is a somewhat flaky wifi. I have to use a VPN for work and it would cut in and out.
First, I must say that the property manager was understanding and did what they could to resolve the problem. But I have to say that if you are coming in winter, check with condition of the property beforehand. We arrived when it was dark outside (check in time was 4, we couldn't checked until in around 6) and there was deep UNCLEARED snow and thick ice on parking area AND walking area, and the motion-activated light was not strong. It was terrifying. My spouse went back outside to get the luggage, and slipped and fell. Someone came that night to try to clean up the mess, but you can't remove ice that has not been maintained correctly. This place is "fine", but in winter it can be dangerous. The layout of the place is also weird, but it is what it is.
