Amity Flats #4: Nekia Flat

The Amity Flats are set in the heart of downtown Amity. All of the flats are named after the types of soil found in the vineyards around the Willamette Valley and Nekia is found locally in the beautiful Eola-Amity Hills, home to more than 30 outstanding wineries and dozens of gorgeous vineyards. Walk across the street to Coelho Winery or take the short drive to the inspirational Antica Terra winery or visit the monastery of the Brigittine monks to sample some of their award-winning chocolates.

Located in the newly renovated century-old Masonic Lodge building, the Nekia Flat is a studio-style room with a king-size bed and a kitchenette. The love seat converts to a comfortable single bed, and a rollaway can be added on request, so this room will accommodate a small family comfortably. The jazzy color scheme in Nekia’s furnishings will enliven your visit. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, induction stovetop, microwave, and a BBQ grill on the patio ensuring that you will have everything you need to prepare meals. A large, operable window in the exposed brick wall on the south will brighten the room; you can pull down a shade for peaceful darkness. Nekia is known for being the quietest suite at the Amity Flats, so for those who love to sleep in on vacation will love this Flat!

The historic property also features a shared rooftop terrace where you can unwind after a day of exploring. Enjoy a game of ping pong, fire up the BBQ grill, or simply sit back with a glass of local Pinot Noir while watching the sun set over the surrounding countryside.

If you prefer to avoid stairs, the building is equipped with a convenient lift to help transport luggage. Operating instructions are available in your digital guidebook and on the inside wall of the lift.
