This property is in a great location. It was just as described in the listing. The furnishings were very comfortable, and the owner was very kind and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again!
Artistic condo with art from the homeowner. Cozy and perfectly located on the boardwalk. Great view of the city at night and conveniently placed near all sorts of restaurants, bars and entertainment
We were in town for the F1 race weekend and this was the perfect location! Easy access, quick Uber to downtown, great restaurants and food trucks in walking distance, access to waterfront trails. The house has everything we needed for our stay and had plenty of space for our group. Definitely recommend this property!
This was a nice apartment with a great location just across the river from downtown Austin. Close to just about everything. The apartment complex is gated and in a decent area.
Traveled to Austin to attend a conference. The condo was a short six minute drive to the downtown conference center. Local restaurants just a short walk away.
What a perfect condo for our first trip to Austin! Loved the boardwalk along the river, clean pool, balcony, and close proximity to SoCo (less than 10 min drive). The condo itself was perfect for us. Clean, enjoyable space. Thank you!

Glad to hear you enjoyed Austin. Thank you for selecting our property during your stay.
Wonderful property and excellent host. Comfortable, clean and very well appointed. Easy parking and walkable neighborhood. Consider repairing garbage disposal and enhancing lighting in second bathroom.
Will definitely return.
I’m from San Antonio and met a friend from Ohio for a long weekend exploring Austin. We loved the location, and took several long walks along the river, enjoying the views. There were plenty of restaurants in close proximity. The only bad part was a surprise ice storm / winter storm which prompted us to leave a day early! Everything was perfect!

Thank you!
Great location. Very nicely decorated condo, felt right at home. My only minor issue was that my kids complained about the lack of internet connection and very limited TV channels. But otherwise it was great and I would stay here again!

Fabulous!!!
We spent a long weekend in Ausin over Memorial Day weekend. The condo was perfect for 2 couples. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths were set up very nice. The kitchen had everything you need. The location was perfect to downtown and easy access to I-35. Overall, we loved it. We would use that unit again.
The unit was very clean and very spacious. Amy was easy to contact and she responded quickly. Amy also made sure the unit had everything we needed. The pictures should be updated to show how beautiful this unit is in person. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in central Austin.

Wonderful.! Easy to find, close to everything you want to do in Austin
Perfectly situated close enough to downtown, yet far enough away to not be bothered by the distractions of a big city. The condo had all the comforts of home for our family of 4. From a fully equipped kitchen to plenty of square footage for us to be comfortable after spending time exploring all that Austin has to offer. We took in sightseeing of downtown. Visited the bat bridge, cooper's pit BBQ, University of Texas campus, as well as the Texas state capital. We also visited the Oasis on Lake Travis, which being located on southshore made this a easy evening trip. Highly recommend staying at this location and will explore staying here again in the future.

Thank you for choosing our place for your family getaway. Sounds like you filled your visit to Austin with activities as a local would do to make your trip memorable!
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Look forward to hosting you again.
Location was great, Amy was very responsive and available for questions.
I think we came in the off season or just beginning of busy season . The pool wasn’t available during our stay as they were doing maintenance -probably nothing Amy herself could do anything about . Is was pretty warm out so we ventured to find other water places. Overall great place.

Perfect location in a city with everything
Comfortable, clean property located on the river. The property has everything one could need from coffeemaker to washing machine and dryer.
The area has many things to offer including a nice boardwalk/riverside trail for a walk, run of cycle. It is a short walk to some fabulous food trucks offering everything from Churros to Korean/Mexican food combinations. Across the street is a great pizza, some coffee and a 7-11. There is a good sports bar on the corner should you like that sort of spot. There is a bus stop a short walk that can get you to down town in less than 10 minute for only $1.25 one way.
Would definitely book again if the situation arises.

Great Home Base for a Stay in Austin
My husband and I took our daughter to look at UT and visit Austin for 5 days and decided to stay in this unit. It was a great choice! The owner was responsive to any issues, it's in a great location and you can get a great night's sleep. Although we didn't eat in, the kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of towels and sheets and it has a great view of the water and path. I also loved the extra security as you needed a code to enter the parking lot. The units are a bit older so there might be some work on the building(s), but this unit is nicely maintained and is a perfect base for a visit to Austin with great access to highways, the college, and all of the great music and food spots in town. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Place
This cozy 2 bedroom was perfect for our 3 day weekend. The owner responded to e-mails right away. The property is gated and very secure. The home was neat, clean and very comfortable. We ate dinners out but cooked breakfast and made lunches to go and found the kitchen well appointed. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. The view of the river and walking path were beautiful. We rented bikes and did the 10 mile loop the first day and walked the second day. It was warm almost 70 and although the pool water was a little cold to swim in, we sat out in the sun around the pool. I would go again and I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone. Directions to get get in to the property, find the key, get on the wifi were very clear and easy. Wonderful stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Fourth of July in Austin, TX
Great location and safe neighborhood.
Refrigerator is loud and the ice maker doesn't stop making ice. It over flows.
Bathroom towels were brand new with tags still on them. A wash and dry would have alleviated a ton of lint. Didn't notice until showers had already taken place.
Neighbors upstairs make a lot of noise walking around. This would have been nice to know.
King beds would be more comfortable.
Would have liked a quick check in from our host when we arrived and a second one prior to checking out.
Nice touch on the send a post card home with attached stamps.

Thank you for leaving a review.
Future guests - Our note upon check-in has served us well. We respect your time at our home and make things straight forward as possible. When in doubt, we respond to messages when you have questions.
The property is listed correctly with a queen and full bed in a condo with shared walls. Soft goods and starter supplies are well maintained. And the ice in the refrigerator is cycled through between guests. By lifting the metal bar you can stop the ice maker from producing ice.
Expect some activity at our property built in ‘79 minutes from downtown and walkable to eateries. Our friendly community is a mixture of owners, short term rentals and long term rentals attracting young professionals.
The property is in a very nice gated community. We had a view of Lady Bird Lake from the porch which was nice. The house was very clean. The kitchen was wonderful. Very well appointed. The master bedroom and bath were beautiful. I was a little concerned about the bathroom rug as I almost slipped a couple times getting out of the shower. Ended up just taking them up. There is no closet in the second bedroom and the dresser was kinda rickety but we managed.
The owners were very responsive when we needed to call about a couple of minor issues. We would definitely stay here again and enjoyed our time here.
Note: we went for a walk and took the key to the gate as we were told, but when we tried to get back in, the key didn’t work. If this happens to you, just go in through the car gate, using the code. Easy peasy.

Stop Looking...
If you are scrolling through the Austin properties searching for the perfect property for your stay, stop looking! You just found it. This place is the right size for your stay in Austin with friends or family. The owners have left no detail to chance. The kitchen is fully equipped with glassware, silverware etc. anything you need to enjoy eating in. The living area is nicely decorated and oh so comfortable (the pictures do not do it justice). The French doors open to a little deck that over looks a creek and a wooden area. You are steps away from the most beautiful walking and biking path in Austin. The condo was very clean and the beds were so comfortable (my personal requirement for a good stay). The neighborhood is quiet and the pool is practically outside your front door. Even little details like shampoo, toothpaste and a hair dryer were not overlooked. We felt so safe as the complex is gated and well kept up. Our first day in Austin it rained but we didn't care because the condo was the perfect place to hang out and chill. Books and games were provided and plenty of tvs. The place is really close to all the action. We rented a car and could drive easily to downtown or the Barton Springs area in about ten minutes. We appreciated the keyless entry and the two bathrooms.
I come to Austin once per year for an industry trade show, and this is the best location I’ve stayed in yet. Close to everything, and yet a nice getaway with a great setting along the river. The property was clean and comfortable for myself and a colleague.

About the host
Hosted by Blakely
I live and work in Austin and love the city and our community.
Why they chose this property
It is close to downtown and we have great neighbors. The property was built in 1980 so it has that Melrose effect, for those of you that grew up in the early 90s.
What makes this property unique
It is a few minutes from the beaten path which should give you quiet mornings but jump on the hike and bike trail just outside our gates and you are experiencing what Austin is known for.
