Excellent location!!! Blue Mountains Ski, Big Boulder and Jack Frost Ski, Camelback ski, Skirmish paintball place, Hickory Run State Park (outdoor games, lake, Hawk Falls waterfall and hiking).

Take a relaxing vacation! Our craftsman vacation home can give you the perfect getaway for your family and friends. We have 4 bedrooms and a huge loft (7Q + 2T beds), 2.5 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, family room and a real steam sauna. Our vacation home can easily accommodate up to 12 adults + additional kids (kids under 12 are not considered adults).

After a long day of adventure - you can relax in the family room, warm up next to a real wood burning fireplace, relax in the steam sauna, play pool (slate 8') or watch a movie on a 55' ROKU TV in the family room and ROKU TV in the Living room. Sit on the deck, patio and relax by watching and listening various birds and wildlife (lost of deer) or just have quiet mountain fresh time. Come and enjoy the tranquility, the beauty nature has to offer all year round here in the Pocono Mountains – Towamensing Trails Community.

There is something to do for everyone, no matter what time of the year it is! Check out some attractions in the area:

ALL YEAR AROUND:
- Hickory Run State Park - 15 min away that spreads across Pocono Mountains and supports many activities, some of which vary seasonally. During the summer months, swimming is available in Sand Spring Lake, which is partially bordered by a huge sand beach, green filed for games, picnic areas, food court, indoor showers, many hiking trails and waterfalls. In winter, the frozen lake can be used for ice skating. Seasonal hunting is permitted in many areas of the park, with white-tailed deer, black bear, and squirrels among the game that may be hunted legally. Fishing is allowed with PA fishing license. Blue Mountain
- Towamensing trails community amenities offer a 190 acre lake that has a relaxing sandy beach with lifeguard protected swimming area, Boat rental Area, volleyball courts and playground as well as an outdoor community pool, Community Center, Game room, deck, pavilion, basketball court, tennis courts and marina. During summer boats and pedal boats can be rented (PA fishing license is required for fishing). The outdoor pool is open between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Our vacation home is a 10 min walking distance from the community amenities. To limit crowds, the community only provides 8 wristbands per rental. This means only 8 guests can go at once. Kids Under 5 don't need wristbands.

Due to the current circumstances we recommend our guests to bring their own linens and towels!

The house was the perfect location - 20 minutes to Jim Thorpe to participate in some Christmas festivities and about 30 minutes to ski resorts to have fun in the snow. Amenities were very close by. The house was super spacious and allowed us to spread out or enjoy fun time as a family enjoying the amenities. Melinda, the owner was super responsive to all questions prior to check in which made our stay super easy.

Perfect weekend!

This was the perfect home for our group for our weekend ski trip. Plenty of room, clean and close to many attractions and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our large group!

This house was perfect for our large group of 3 families. Plenty of room and beds for all. We loved having the pool table and the hot tub for entertainment. The deer stopped by twice a day to check in on us! They are always a joy to watch. We would definitely stay here again.

Great, well equipped house in a peaceful setting

The house was very clean and spacious. The house is well equipped and it had everything we needed for our week’s stay in the Jim Thorpe region. It is in walking distance to the lake beach area and swimming pool. The location is very quiet and peaceful. The outdoor space is large and welcoming. The deck could use some refinishing but was a functional, spacious area. The location is within a short driving distance to Jim Thorpe. We had a great time and the owner is very responsive!

Great Memorial Weekend, despite the terrible weather

Spacious and comfortable house, with plenty of sleeping arrangements. We had very poor luck with the weather (coldest memorial weekend since 1870 or something like that), so we very much appreciated the Jaccuzi. The kids LOVED the deer that kept roaming the property - our host tipped us off that they like being fed apples, the kids were running in and out in a steady stream for more fruit.

Birthday getaway

This was the perfect home for 12 adults for a weekend getaway! Super close to snowboarding and other spots. The house was very clean, tidy, and spacious. There are 3 levels when including the loft so lots of space for everyone!! The homeowner also let us do an early check in which was very nice! I would definitely reccomend this home to anyone :)

Great Pocono Getaway!

My family and I absolutely loved the property!. It was very clean, well stocked, and everything was functional. The pool table was a hit! We were greeted by deer in front of the house, when we arrived! Not far from decent hiking and the swimming was great. We walked around quite a bit, not far from the lake and swimming. Our host was in touch and answered all our questions. *****

Close to the JFBB for mountain fun

Enjoyed our stay at this property. We stayed with 12 adults for a long weekend to ski/snowboard. Nice and close to JFBB (15-20 minutes) Large space. The pictures do not show how large the home is. Plenty of rooms and beds. The home comes with minimal kitchen amenities. You will need to bring everything with you including pot holders, can opener, aluminum foil, etc. They did provide pots and pans. We did not have access to any cleaning equipment either (vacuum & broom) which made it hard to stay tidy. The deck is very large and would make a nice area if staying in the summer. Enjoyed our stay.

Nice place, hot tub was a hit.

All good except the grill. Have stayed at other resorts and never had to bring my own propane. It should be the responsibility of the owner to make sure the tank is full or another tank is available if the current one runs out. I ended up filling the tank there at my own expense. Your welcome....

We had a group of 4 families. All 12 people had a great time in this relaxing and spacious place. We played pool and enjoyed the sauna almost every day. Melinda was very friendly and helpful and responded to all of our questions in a timely manner and even allowed us to have an early check-in and 25-minute late checkout. Would definitely recommend it to our friends.
