From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. Snow plowing is provided by local vendor and is intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. DO NOT TAKE UBERS OR LYFTS TO THIS PROPERTY. Please plan to check in by 8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 2 vehicles.

Rivamonte is managed by locally owned and operated property manager Cottonwood Lodging Company where the guest experience is most important. Please reach out for information about the area and other services offered by Cottonwood Lodging.

Vaulted ceilings, amazing views, and a warm ambiance greet you at the door of this beautiful log home situated on a mountain stream near Brighton Resort. Construction is centered around large, gorgeous wood beams and quality craftsmanship is evident throughout this home. The great room features an immense stone fireplace and a wall of windows which allows for plenty of sunlight and uninterrupted views of the landscape. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, a spacious kitchen, and a den/TV room downstairs.

MAIN LEVEL:
-Living Room- HUGE windows with unbeatable views, comfy couch and armchairs, TV, large gas perfect gathering area for your group off the slopes!

-Kitchen- Modern custom kitchen with all the necessary tools you need to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

-Dining Area- Plenty of space for up to 8 at the wooden dining table with a few extra seats at the kitchen counter!

-Primary Bedroom- King sized bed, a door out to the deck, TV, and a private full bathroom!

-Twins Bedroom- Spacious main level bedroom with two Twin beds and its own door to the common bathroom.

-Common Bathroom- Jack & Jill style bathroom with entry doors in the main hallway and twins bedroom.

LOFT:
-Office Space- A desk provides ample space for our working travelers, along with a birds-eye view of the main level.

DOWNSTAIRS:
-Den- Watch a movie with friends and family downstairs while sinking into the deep couches!

-Queen Bedroom- Downstairs queen bedroom with cozy linens.

-King Bedroom- Downstairs bedroom with king-sized bed.

-Laundry Room- Access to efficient washer/dryer with detergent provided! We also have an iron/ironing board in here.

The surrounding environment is beautiful. You can enjoy the river while having a BBQ on the balcony. The Kitchen and dining table are huge enough for us to have a wonderful dinner.

Everything was perfect! Extremely comfortable beds and linens. Kitchen was incredible: stocked with basic pantry supplies. We took the basics as well, used what was open and left our new unopened pantry items (unable to fly home with groceries). Host was great, checking to see if we needed anything, after check in. Heated flooring made the atmosphere very cozy and easy to adjust temps. Living room fireplace was awesome and too easy! We could go on and on with every detail. Everything was perfect!

Awesome Stay!

This place had plenty of room for all 7 of us and is located right in between both Solitude and Brighton Mountains. The location was great and the skiing was even better.

We love the location, which is walkable to Brighton and the Nordic Center, and a short drive to Solitude. It's a beautiful home, comfortable and well appointed overall. The fireplace works great and warms up the house quickly. The Cottonwood Lodging staff was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Brighton home

This home has it all. Conveniently located between Brighton and Solitude resorts, beautiful views out the back, plenty of room and amenities inside, and the property manager couldn't have been more helpful as we had trouble finding the property in the dark and understanding which keypad we should have used to enter the property. We would definitely stay here again!

It would be an uphill walk to the resort from the home - we do frequently see others park further down canyon than this home and walk to Brighton in their gear - it can be done, but may not be best suited for everyone, especially with the addition of ski boots/gear on. Amazing propery with amazing management

This property is incredible. It's beautiful, clean, comfortable, and it has a great location. The management company is the most professional and accommodating company I have ever dealt with. If only other rental companies were at this level. 10/10 all the way around!

Completely Peaceful

Rivamonte is heaven on earth. It is so peaceful and the view out the back of the house is amazing. The sound of the running river is so soothing and refreshing. The house is well decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. There are more than enough towels in the bathroom and there were large bottles of shampoo and conditioner and body wash. We did not want for anything and we will definitely be back!

Amazing Big Cottonwood Canyon Cabin by the Creek

This property was one of the most amazing rental properties our family has rented. The cabin is adjacent to the creek and the sound of the water flowing down the rocks can be heard from the bedrooms while you sleep. During our stay a moose and her two babies spent an afternoon grazing by the cabin. The place was immaculate and well stocked (kitchenware, puzzles/games, etc.). There were plenty of towels. It’s within walking distance of Silver Lake.

The house has everything you need and sits in a very quiet area, even though it's on the main road. The place was very clean and the property manager was quick to respond to our questions. Highly recommend. You can also walk to the Brighton store and the Nordic center.

We had a great time, and were impressed with how clean the cabin was, how well stocked the kitchen was, and how beautiful the setting was. I really appreciated the large table with plenty of chairs so we could all eat together and play games at the table. The décor was perfect...nothing seemed out of place. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall loved my time at this rental property. Very close to Brighton which is so convenient. Well stocked kitchen and lots of extra linens. The online listing stated 3 king beds and 1 queen; in reality, one of these 3 king beds had been replaced by two twin beds. Additionally, we were told only 3 small cars could fit in the driveway; however, it is possible to fit more. Overall very happy with the experience though.

Thank you for your review Jarrod, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! The room with the two twins has a coupler so that the beds can be either a king or 2 twins depending on the guest's needs. I'm sorry we missed that and converted it back to a king. You and your group were terrific guests and we'd love to host you again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the place is beautiful, comfortable, And well appointed - Plenty of room and nicely stocked in every way. Also, a great location to skiing. However, it wasn't very clean. Some of the dishes and pots needed washing before we used them. Some bedding was clearly used before we arrived. The dryer was filled with towels and bedding the we had to fold and put away. I also had remove about a foot on snow from the driveway upon our arrival. Overall, it was very nice and we would stay again.
