What a beautiful area!! Nice and quiet! Brought me back to my WV roots. Easy to get to hiking trails and fishing spots. Fishing on the property was fantastic! We were able to meet our host, Michael was very nice and wanted to make sure that we had everything that we needed.

Thanks Jenniffer! You guys are great guests and I hope you can come back soon.
My friends and I like the outdoors. We like to hunt and fish and we have added riding ADV motorcycles to the mix. Michaels place allows us to have the perfect base camp for all of that. We have stayed here multiple times. We look forward to many more.Michael is a wonderful host. He is there if needed and is constantly making small upgrades that make the stay more comfortable.
I had a great stay! The cabin was peaceful and exactly what I needed for a quiet getaway. Michael was friendly and quick to respond, and check-in was super easy. I really loved the fire pit and how calm and quiet it was both during the day and at night. My dog also loved being able to run freely around the property! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to relax and disconnect for a bit. Thanks again, Michael!
I don’t remember when I was last so relaxed. The property is beautiful and oh so peaceful. The home has all the necessities and more. Owner communication was top notch. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is very relaxing. It is completely void of the usual traffic sounds and people from the houses around me. If you want a secluded trip, this is the trip for you. We saw deer everyday, multiple times a day while we were there. We were lucky enough to even see a bear. The creek was my favorite part. I definitely recommend!
I cannot recommend this home enough. I spent a fantastic long weekend here escaping the city fireworks with my dog. We enjoyed the early morning walks and bird watching and relaxing by the river in the afternoon. The house is clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything I needed. I was so sad to leave, and would love to return in the future. The George Washington National Forest is stunning, and this home is the perfect way to experience all of its beauty.
Great place perfect for me and friend on our turkey hunt. Stocked with essentials, very clean and host very attentive and easy to reach if anything needed during stay. Be aware there’s no cell service in any area around but the WiFi worked great to stream tv/wifi calling.

Thanks Jonathan. We hope to see you again this fall during deer season.
This is the second time I’ve stayed here and the owner continues to improve the property. From the stocked fish pond to the new appliances and flooring the place looks amazing and it’s the perfect place to get away from the busy pace of life. We have just booked another week there and it’s our favorite place in the area! Well Worth the visit!
This was our third time staying here. The owner is always upgrading and his attention to detail is awesome. A trout pond has been installed since our last time there. The setting is beautiful and the house has always been clean and comfortable and a great way to relax at the end of our day. We will be back!
If you're craving a getaway that soothes the soul and quiets the mind, this destination is a peace of heaven. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of calm that lingered long after I left. The surroundings are breathtaking—lush greenery, fawns with their momma on the front lawn, gentle breezes, and the kind of silence that soothed my soul. No traffic noise, no crowds—just the gentle rustle of leaves and birds singing. Whether it’s morning coffee on the porch or evening walks in the National Forest every moment felt like a gift! This getaway is ideal for anyone needing to recharge, reconnect, or simply escape the noise of everyday life. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply grateful. It’s not just a place—it’s an experience. As a RN I needed this time to relax.

Wow. Thank you for the eloquent words. You guys were great guest and come back anytime.
The owner graciously met us at the property, just long enough to give us a quick intro to the house and property. While the decor is a bit dated, the house was clean and comfortable. The owner is aware of some needed updates/upgrades and is currently working on them.
We had one “issue” with water access, but the owner resolved the issue within hours of us notifying him.
Overall, the property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking to ‘disconnect’ for a bit, this is a great place to do so! We will surely be staying again!!
