Home had everything we needed. Spotless. Location was prime for access to anything you needed in town. Comfortable beds. We were in town for our son's wedding. Home was spacious enough to host the 9 groomsmen for brunch wedding morning. Only thing not perfect was the sound from the main road but we used fan apps on our phones to mask that sound and then slept wonderfully.
This large home was very well maintained and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for cooking our dinners. There were only two of us there, but it was very comfortable for 2-4 more people. The bathrooms were modern and the towels fresh and plentiful. Communication with the owner was good and reliable.
Downstairs was absolutely adorable. Upstairs was ok. Not enough electrical outlets, tv's didn't work, a small trash can in each bedroom would have been a nice touch. If we come back to Geneva we would stay here again
We stayed at the recently recently renovated Farmhouse for a week. Everything in the house was as it had been described. The furnishings were very comfortable, and the supply of kitchen equipment was very generous!
The house is convenient to Geneva, NY and Seneca Lake with it's many wineries, and Amish shops, bakeries, farms and creameries!
Watkins Glen is an easy 45 minute drive and the scenery was spectacular!
This is a great place to stay. It was my second stay at this property. We were there for a week the first time, July 2024, and almost 2 weeks this time (Aug/Sep 2024). It lives up to all expectations: clean, uncluttered, well appointed. This is one of the few properties in the area with 1) two full bathrooms, and 2) washer/drier. Host was very fast to respond to me when I had a question.
My friends & I stayed here in November, 2025 for 3 nights. We did not meet our host, Chris, but we were so impressed & grateful for his prompt replies to every one of our emails. He also left a bottle of local white wine as a "Welcome" gift. We loved this special touch, and thank you Chris! The house was vintage, but had many updates and was extremely clean, which made us happy! We found the beds & pillows to be very comfortable. The living room was big & airy, with comfortable couches, which made it a great room for us to hang out in & chit chat. I would recommend this home to anyone contemplating coming to the Finger Lakes. It was big, comfortable & very cozy. We were also happy that it was close to many wineries. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, inviting place to stay, check out this house! You won't be disappointed!
