Summer in Charlevoix is the best! It's named Charlevoix (meaning 'The Beautiful') for a reason and Ironton Stone Cottage gives you access to all the Charlevoix area has to offer. Just a short walk down Washington St. to pristine Lake Charlevoix beach this newly updated stone cottage is your destination for enjoying all things Up-North!
Centrally located in Ironton on the west side of the Lake this is the perfect location with a short walk or drive to everything you come Up North to enjoy.
- Washington St. Beach - 5min walk (0.3mi) to a secluded beach on Lake Charlevoix
- The Landing - (0.4mi) Our on-the-water favorite restaurant for boat watching and Heck-Yeah's
- Ironton Ferry (0.4mi) Next to the Landing, ride the ferry for fun on foot, or take your car across to go to Boyne City (19mi) or Ye Nyne Olde Holles golf course (4.4mi via ferry)
- Boat Launches
- Ironton Launch - (0.4mi) newly renovated launch for boats up to 30ft.
- Charlevoix Municipal Boat Ramp - (4.5mi) primary access launch accommodating any size boat.

Newly updated with all new furniture, appliances, air conditioning, bedding, and high-speed internet to make your stay in Charlevoix the most enjoyable.
Beach Kit - that short walk to the beach is complete with the full use of a beach wagon with big wheels (MacSports XL), beach towels, cooler, and sand toys! Pack your favorite beach beverages in the cooler backs of the "RELAX" Tommy Bahama beach chairs (2) and beach umbrella.
Bedrooms - The first bedroom has a king bed with luxury 680 thread count sheets and plush pillows. The second bedroom has an twin bed upper bunk with a lower queen bed arrangement. Perfect for a second couple or fun with the kids also with super soft sheets. Each bedroom also has a retractable-fan ceiling light with independent light and fan speed control.
Bathroom - The one full bath has a shower-tub to wash off the sun and sand appointed with ultra soft luxury bath towels.
Kitchen - The kitchen is fully appointed and has been modernized with a new refrigerator and new gas range along with a modernized look to enjoy cooking or grilling "at home" for a night. Equipped with hexclad frying pan, saucepans, Cuisinart cooking utensils, and forged stainless knife set. Staple cooking condiments and spices are provided and the coffee bar has a Keurig coffee station for convenience as well.
Dining room - spin tales into the evening with good food and wine under the water fall chandelier
Living room - designer decorated with a Crate and Barrel couch, super comfortable patterned chairs, plush decor pillows and lakeside artwork. You'll feel right at home (maybe a little better).

Outdoor Space - the backyard and deck has four Adirondack- style chairs for relaxing around a smoke-less fire in the Solo Stove and gazing up at the Milky Way in the dark Charlevoix skies. The deck has a three burner Weber Genesis grill for steak night or lunchtime hot dogs. Need to stock up on groceries? Family Fare is a quick 4.5mi to Charlevoix with a full grocery, butcher, and deli.
Ironton Congregational Church is also just a 3m walk down the street.

Close to The Landing (our favorite restaurant!), the boat launch, and the beach, only a few min from Castle Farms, Hungry Ducks Farm, Charlevoix shopping, the Charlevoix pier and Lake Michigan, and Fisherman's island State Park (little known - super beautiful).
What makes this property unique
