We had an absolute amazing time here. Fide, Rogelio and Carmen were top notch. Food was amazing, beach and town were great, and taxi team was very friendly. Jose Alfonso was great with communication also as this was our first time to PV. We felt VERY SAFE! We will be back for sure. We miss it already and miss Fide and Rogelio. :)

A group of 5 of stayed at Jose's place and were blown away from the start. Jose was extremely quick to respond to all of my questions and he reached out when we arrived to welcome us and ensure everything was as expected. Fide is an amazing cook. She makes everything fresh and homemade, with love. Rogelio was always available for anything we needed. Many times he went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Carmen was a great sous chef and also ensured our rooms were clean and tidy. We never had to ask for fresh towels or toiletries. And the VIEW......wow!!!!! Thank you Fide, Rogelio and Carmen for making my 50th birthday trip one to remember. We will be back.

Beautiful cliff casa

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Buenavista immensely. If you are looking for a quiet place to come back to after a fun day trip to the Vallarta Botanical Gardens or Boca de Tomatalan, this is the spot! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The view of Mismaloya was breathtaking.

Lovely Weeklong Stay

Beautiful home and great location. We went to the beach, to PV, to the local town and zoo, and for a boat day. The rest of the time we swam in the pools and were spoiled by Fide and her cooking. Would recommend! The entire staff was lovely, and Fide in particular is a gem and phenomenal cook.

We were a group of 4 couples celebrating milestone birthdays! The house was beautiful, and the view was breathtaking. 10 of us stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The home was absolutely beautiful and big enough to feel like we had our own space. The views from the home are unreal. Awesome trip to Casa Buena Vista. The villa staff, Fide, Rogelio, and Carmen were fantastic. Fide's cooking can't be beat. The host, Jose, communicated often and was easy to get ahold of even though there were no issues with our stay. The villa was the perfect size for the seven members of our group. The view from the villa is exceptional We were sad to leave and hope to come back again some day.

First, the pictures of this house do not do it justice. It is gorgeous in every sense and was more beautiful in person. We lived in the outdoor spaces when we weren’t sleeping- dining in the terrace, hanging out at the pool(s), or on the pool deck watching the ocean with a cocktail or coffee. The host, Jose, was very responsive and timely in responding to my questions before and during the trip. He had some excellent recommendations for dinner but told me Fide and Carmelita’s cooking is so good we would not want to eat out. He was right and only ate out twice in five nights! Breakfast and dinner was so fresh, delicious, and filling we skipped lunch every day. The amenities were great, the house cleaned daily, the air conditioners worked wonderfully when we needed them and the staff was so attentive. It was a sad day when we had to check out. We will miss Fide, Carmelita and Rogelio. We also made friends with a taxi driver at the base of the hill and he became our personal driver for the whole trip for excursions to PV city center, golf, airport. Jerry was amazing!

Great Spot for a Relaxing Vacation

Dealing with our host, Jose, was a breeze. He promptly responded to each pre-trip email with useful information and then checked in with us upon arrival. The staff at the house was awesome - we had all of our meals at the house as Fide kept us well fed (it will take a few weeks to shed the pounds we gained) and Rogelio was attentive to anything that needed fixing. The area around the pools is wonderful and allowed us to spread out and enjoy sun or shade. Casa Buenavista is highly recommended.

Like most that visit this area, I fell in love with the exotic coastline, jungles, the city of Puerto Vallarta and local culture..

I invested in this property for personal use and eventually decided to share with others through rental when I was not enjoying my stays there.

What makes this property unique

I enjoy everything from relaxing around the pool, BBQ'ing fresh local fish to discovering the great local restaurants in the area. Many days we grab a local boat taxi at Mismaloya for days in the secluded villages of Las Animas and Yelapa as well as fishing the waters of the Bay.
