McSauba hiking trails/beach, & access to Lake Michigan Beach!

The space:
Enjoy and relax in Hidden Gem's casual and modern, sunny vibe! This home is newly furnished and completely renovated, with hardwood floors, and custom designed touches to enhance your vacation experience. This home is newly furnished with accents accentuating the stunning colors of the area's nearby lakes. The common areas encourage your group to gather together, yet there's plenty of room to sprawl! The home's character has been carefully preserved to feature some of the original built-in nooks and bookcases.

The spacious, fully equipped kitchen offers a great coffee/breakfast station and plenty of seating. Take your coffee to go on a morning beach walk and hunt for Petoskey stones just blocks away, or savor it outside on the back deck and listen to the neighborhood wake up! The kitchen includes a microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, gas range, range hood, coffee maker/grinder, toaster, blender, plenty of kitchen/baking ware, etc. -
This kitchen/dining area also features a gas fireplace! Dine across from a crackling fire at the spacious dining table, graze from the bar, or grill your meal outside and enjoy the outdoor patio and privacy of the spacious backyard! Have a group? -Gather up after your meal and spend a night playing games at the large dining table next to the warm fireplace.
Right off of the kitchen you will find the spacious living room with a couch that doubles as a King size pull-out sleeper sofa (mattress is high quality-extra linens/pillows are provided). Cozy up on the couch and watch a movie or tv (cable tv stations provided) with a 65” Smart TV and quality sound. Check out the entertainment cabinet for plenty of games, puzzles, cards, and books to explore!

Living Room Sleeper Sofa - 1 King bed - high end/quality & comfortable

The master bedroom features a king bed with full ensuite including a 42” flat screen Smart TV. The guest bedroom features a queen bed and has access to a 2nd full bathroom that is also conveniently located for additional guests. The living room also offers a pull-out sleeper sofa. As a third bonus room for sleeping, the garage has been converted to a guest room that features a FULL/twin bunk and a twin/twin bunk, plus a 55” flat screen Smart TV.

This house is fully equipped with everything you would need from linens, towels, and a starter pack of all the consumables. Additional amenities include a washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, gas grill, cable tv, wi-fi, board games, yard games, backyard patio/dining area/ fire pit, beach toys, camping chairs, and a 3 car driveway with additional parking on the street.

Take advantage of our Outdoor spaces!:
Spend your evenings relaxing on the beautiful back deck or playing a yard game. Special attention has been paid to your backyard oasis, fully fenced in, with professional landscaping and a large pergola. Curl up with a book on a warm evening, or walk just a few blocks to one of the best sunsets on Lake Michigan!
With a doggie door from the garage to the fenced in side and backyard-you are also welcome to bring the family dog-as this home is happy to welcome your furry friend! **Pets Allowed with a Non-Refundable Fee, fee is per pet. Please indicate that you are bringing or two dogs so that the pet fee will be added. The City is pet friendly and often has doggie bags throughout for your disposal.

Neighborhood: Stroll just three blocks to the public access of Lake Michigan's sugar sand beach and dunes. Walk then hike on the most gorgeous lakeside trails and beach at nearby Mt. McSauba Recreation Area/ski hill....and Lake Michigan! Or, decide to get dinner out and grab a great burger & famous salad bar JUST BLOCKS down Division St. at Jax Bar & Grille - we love this place, great local spot/hangout with plenty of food & drink choices.
Jump in the lake or watch a gorgeous sunset from the less frequented, yet amazing, Lake Michigan Beach Public Access, JUST 3 BLOCK away off Michigan Avenue!
Walk Just a half mile from: -Events in the park, Bridge St. boutique shops, downtown marina, Oleson's Supermarket, movie theater, farmer's market, mushroom houses, wedding venues, splash pad, music concerts, local beaches, the drawbridge-Michigan beach lighthouse, channel, downtown bars & restaurants!
BIKING:
Being on the northside, you are extremely close to the area's major bike trail, Little Traverse Wheelway, in Charlevoix! Bring your distance bike and hit the bike trail which extends to Boyne City, Petoskey, and beyond! Or, choose to hit the local streets in Charlevoix and checkout the mushroom houses, back alleys, and lakeside streets.
