ROBINSON HOUSE NICOLINA
Robinson Nicole's house consists of a ground floor house, storage and big water tank. These buildings are arranged in a U-shaped layout, and between them there is a spacious courtyard with a shed, stone build sink and a large fireplace where you can grill, bake and cook over a fire. The courtyard is closed with stone walls from the part of the west and north, so it is completely closed, intimate place for complete relaxation of the guests of the house.
In front of the western facade of the house is a lower terrace equipped with wooden table with 4 chairs, 2 deck chairs and umbrellas and decorated with clay pots with flowers. Above the table is a wooden pergola with canvas cover. The terrace has a beautiful view over valley and the bay often full of boats. It is interesting that from this terrace you can see 4 cape of Pakleni islands and five cape, the westernmost point of the island, Hvar cape Pelegrin. So, while the courtyard is fully enclosed, terrace on the western part is the belvedere, designed for a pleasant evenings under candel light or early breakfast in the freshness of the morning.
Around the whole house is a garden, mostly bordered by a stone wall in which were planted authentic Dalmatian olive varieties from which we obtain the superior oil, which can be bought from the owner of the house.
The house is divided in two parts. West side is a spacious kitchen with dining area, and on the east are two bedrooms. At the end of the coridor is a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator and freezer, satellite TV, mini Hi-Fi line with iPod dock and the possibility of reproducing music with other gadgets and large, fireplace for winter and in summer mainly serves as a pantry. In the kitchen is a small wine bar that offers selected white wines of original dalmatian varietes, with pleasent summer flavor. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything necessary for preparing many kinds of food.
In the kitchen is handmade bed/sofa, dimensions 80x200, with three large pillows. Removing the pillows sofa becomes a comfort single bed. In the southern room are two beds separated, a three door wardrobe and build up closet where are the linen and towel for emergency change. In the north room is king size double bed and three door wardrobe.
In the kitchen there are two ceiling fan width of 130 cm, while the rooms at a time, which ensures cooling in the summer heat.
 ENERGY SUPPLY
Despite the fact that the property has no external electric energy and water, the house is technically very advanced, fully functional and independent. All systems are in line with modern solutions. Eletric energy gain through solar panels that fill modern gel batteries. The resulting electricity is sufficient for normal functioning of the house and connect consumers to 800 W of consumption. Consumers with large heaters can not be connected (water heaters, hair iron, iron machine, powerful hairdryers etc.). In the house is hairdryer that guests can use. The hot water gets through solar boiler capacity of 100 liters. In the kitchen is gas stove, while water is drinkable rain water collected in water tank.
LOCATION OF THE HOUSE: HVAR, PALMIŽANA, VIS....
In the wider area of Hvar, its marinas, night clubs, the best restaurants and etc. It is easy to understand that the Zdrilca bay is located right at its center. It is located halfway between the town of Hvar and Palmizana, famous place on the Pakleni islands where is ACI marina with shop, several excellent restaurants with an international reputation (Meneghello, Laganini etc.) and large sandy beach, while the contents of the town of Hvar needs no introduction. There is also beautiful northwestern part of the island of Vis, only a dozen NM away from Marinkovac.
We always recommend a renting of small inflatable boat or speedboat, because then all the facilities of Pakleni island and Hvar town are only a few minutes drive from the Zdrilca bay. During your stay you can hire a boat 5m long with 8 horsepower without a boat license at truly attractive price. If you have international boat licence you can hire a biger boat or speed boat. There is many renters of boats in port of Hvar where you can rent a boat by your self or ask from me to rent one for you. I can recommend you Ba-Rè Sailing with it’s program.

SWIMMING, DINING, DINNER, CLUBING...
On the island Marinkovac is possible to swim in more places. Beautiful beaches of pebbles in the bay Ždrilca and in the bay of Mlini, a few minutes walk from Zdrilca. In Mlini is small sand beach atractive to children. Between Zdrilac and Mlini is the stone coast where swimming is allowed to the nudists. With a little effort (20 minutes walk) it is possible to go swimming in the bay Stipanska where is the Carpe Diem Bech Club, but it’s much better to go there with boat because of bed condition of the path.
In the bay are three restaurants, „Tri grede“, famous fish restaurant “Antonio Patak” and “Mamato” while in the neighboring bay of Mlini (300 meters) is the restaurant of the same name known for it’s domestic lamb, grown on the island.. Twenty minutes of walk separates our house from “Carpe Diem Beach Club” in Stipanska bay on the same island Marinkovac,
The great advantage of the Ždrilca is taxi -boat line during the summer between the bay and the town of Hvar. Boats run from 09 to 13 am and from 16 to 19 pm. Our guests usually use this line in the morning to go to Hvar for shopping, to have a coffee or other small, sometimes big, things like that.
In addition to these regular taxi lines, there are taxi lines that maintain strong seedboats, which can be engaged at any time of day and night. So it is possible to go in the evening in Hvar, and then through the night back to Ždrilca. It is possible to organize excursions to Split, Trogir, Sibenik, Vis with same seedboats. For the guests who comes by plane via Split airport is possible to take a taxi - boat from the airport to Zdrilac and vice versa. For this service you need to make a request to the owner of the house a few days before arrival.
Vacations in Ždrilca, in Robinson house Nicolina, is an ideal blend of trendy crowd restaurants, beach clubs and yachts anchorage  with complete peace where the maximum noise is generated by the crickets and the summer breeze. Such allmost impossible combination is possible due to the fact that the house is about one hundred meters from the crowded shore, at the junction of the valley and the forest. Descent  to the sea allows you to join the throng of swimmers, restaurants and yachts, and the house is quiet as if you are alone in the bay. Especially pleasant are mornings and evenings when the bay crystal clear waters you have for yourself.

HOW TO GET TO THE HOUSE
You can take a speed taxi boat directly from airport Split to Hvar or Zdrilca. That would take about an hour of driving and it will cost app 300 - 400 €. I will ask for details if you want and make a reservation. You can go a regular way and first take a bus (or taxi) from airport (half an hour of driving) to port of Split - every half an hour after landing a plane - then take Jadrolinija catamaran from Split to Hvar. There is also ferry from Split to Stari Grad and then with bus or taxi to Hvar. The tickets for catamaran and ferry are around 40 HRK pro person (5,5 €). It’s possible to by Jadrolinija tickets online
Taxi boat stop is in the north-east corner of Hvar port, near great building of Arsenal, specific by its semicircular entrance. From catamaran stop till taxi-boat stop is around 2-3 minuts by foot, and from bus station around 5-6 minutes. There you will find taxi-boat for Zdrilca. The taxi boats going to Zdrilca from 9 am till 1pm and from 4:30 pm till 6:30 pm. It will take about 15-20 minutes, and cost 40 HRK (5,5 €) pro person. If there is not any available boat call me (+385913000023) and I will organize a boat to take you from Hvar to Zdrilca where I’ll wait for you. That special trip cost 200 HRK (26 €). Near taxi-boat stop is post of speed boats where you can hire speed boat to take you to Zdrilca but that is slightly more expensive option.
In any case you have to make a first grocery shoping on arrival because there is no shops in Zdrilca. It’s possible to go to Hvar every moorning with taxi-boat and then go back to Zdrilca. Also is possible to arrange a special trip to or from Hvar in the evening if you want to spend a day in the town or just take good supper in some of Hvar’s restaurants. There are also 4 restaurants in Zdrilca, Tri grede, Mamato bar, Mlini and Antonio Patak wich is very good fish restaurant, opened in the evening also (other two only during the day).

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay in the Robinson House Nicolina. We were looking for a remote and authentic stay and we found this gem. The best experience was the view from the terrace. Just perfect and we could'n get enough of it. The morning swim in the (still) quiet cove and the crystal clear water is also unforgettable. The house had everything we needed &beds were comfy. Thanks!
