The Gables complex sits in a very desirable location almost directly across the street from the base of Blackcomb Mountain and within an easy 5 minute walk of the Whistler Gondola and Whistler Village. Situated on the banks of Fitzsimmons Creek, The Gables is one of only a few complexes in Whistler that are ski-in/ski-out, close to Whistler Village, and set in a quiet forested area making it easy to get a good night’s sleep.
The Gables #19 was completely renovated in the fall of 2010 and is now one the nicest units in the complex. These major renovations included fresh paint, new furniture, wooden accents and slate flooring throughout, a brand new kitchen with deluxe appliances, dark wood cabinetry and granite countertops, a new washer/dryer plus too many other updates and upgrades to list them all. Guests at The Gables #19 will enjoy a sunken living room with wood burning fireplace, large flat screen T.V., leather sofabed and a ground floor patio with patio furniture and a private BBQ. The new fully equipped kitchen has every convenience from home including a dishwasher, microwave, range, toaster oven, coffee maker, toaster and much more. The bedding in this property is a Queen bed in the master bedroom and a Queen sofabed in the living room and there is also complimentary underground parking for one vehicle and free wireless internet.
The Gables #19 is one of our “Superior” rated properties and includes free wireless internet, a digital cable television package and free underground parking.

Lovely condo in an ideal location. We appreciated that it is so close to Whistler Village and walkable to ski lifts. The unit was clean and well-appointed, the kitchen had all the supplies we needed, and the WiFi worked well. We really enjoyed our stay!
Great location - easy walking access to both Blackcomb and/or Whistler slopes. The place was well stocked with anything you could possibly want for a stay. The pull out couch was comfortable to sleep in. They did a great job clearing snow. The underground parking was perfect and very close to the unit. Thank you!
This was our first ski vacation not staying in a hotel. We really enjoyed staying at this property esp. due to the possibility of cooking like at home incl. BBQ. The location is quiet and very close to lifts, shopping etc. All a short walk away. The place was very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and it was like a stay at home away from home.
My husband and I stayed in this condo for seven nights. It was clean, centrally located between Blackcomb and Whistler Village, the perfect size for two people, and had a decent-sized dining room table for setting up a laptop. We used the designated underground parking space and walked everywhere. The underground parking space is only suitable for a smaller vehicle. We would like to stay in the unit for our trip to Whistler next year.
We had a fantastic stay. The apartment has great appliances and cooking utensils (inc knives). The location is very quiet relative to the main strip in Whistler - although the walls are rather thin so easy to hear your neighbours. That said - this is a quieter choice vs saying in the Whistler village. This property is very close to both the Blackcomb and Whistler mountains- so is excellent for a ski holiday.
We were late to check in so checked in via security. This process was uneventful.
We would definitely look to stay again.

We couldn't speak higher of our experience at Gabels #19. Condo sleeps 4 comfortable with a fold-out bed that is just as comfortable as you want it home. Heated floors remodeled bathroom kitchen the majority of kitchen utensils included. Very very enjoyable and comfortable close to everything we highly recommend it look forward to going back again our self again
Everything was great! Parking is tight for large SUV’s. I have an Escalade and it was super tight in the garage. Make sure the owners turn the heat up as our heat went down to 15 in the middle of the night! I emailed and they turned it up the 2nd night but seemed surprised that 15 was not good enough for a -10 winter night in whistler. Everything else was perfect !
Skied both whistler and Blackcomb both were very close by The only issue I have was my check out date was wrong must have been a type error but only planned on staying until Jan 2 I had a whistler connection for Jan 2 a. Flight January 2 a car rental for Jan 2 I wasn’t trying to shorten my trip a very expensive type error that I was hoping g to get a refund for the extra day I wasn’t even their This could have been handled better at check in As the owner could have been notified and made available for rental but was never talked about thru my stay until the end of my stay to have it posted for available to rent when I spoke to the manager And I was only able to talk to the manager because of a plumbing issue
The Gables is in a great location. We have stayed here before. A couple of things to mention. We did not use the pull out sofa bed. However, there were crumbs between the main part of the sofas and the long divan on the side. Cutlery drawers had bits of ?? Likely crumbs. There was obviously a new clean garbage bag in the bin under the sink but the bin itself was dirty. Both inside on the bottom under the bag and on the outside sides. We washed it out. The placemats in the drawer to the left of the sink were very dirty with stains and spots. We put them through the laundry. They look better. The tea towels are pretty grim. One in particular, brown squares is as thin as a piece of paper and has two holes in it and needs to be replaced. We had a very nice time. Thank you Susan. I’m not sure if it is considered the ‘norm’ or not and didn’t bother us at all but the unit right next to #19 on the ground floor had 4 or so little poop bags that were stored outside the door for days. Just an FYI
This is a beautiful property. Furniture is great quality and comfortable. The kitchen amenities are all wonderful and plentiful. It was very close to shops and trails. Outdoor parking option was essential for us with a van. Bring a bike lock if you have a bike to store.
Right acriss the street from Blackcomb base, 1sr floor unit, cosy and wrll furnished all the things we needed for cooking, including sharp knives! Loved staying here.
What a great property! Location is excellent. Only 200M to the Blackcomb gondola and 500M to the Excalibur/ Whistler gondolas and the Village stroll. A 20 minute walk to the Fresh St. Market and if you do t want to walk back, the free shuttle service is right there to take you home. I have stayed in many rental properties here in Whistler and this place has the BEST equipped kitchen I have seen. Only suggestion is replace the large glass coffee table with something a bit smaller. Another occasional chair would be nice when friends came over. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again!
Wanted to stay close to Fitzsimmons Creek. The Gables was less than a minute walk to the beautiful bridge and seating areas at the creek.

Excellent location, close walking distance to Blackcomb base. Very quiet at night, and full facility including all cooking essentials. Underground parking is limited at 2meters, so if your vehicle has a skybox make sure asking for parking decal to and park at surface lot.
