This home was just perfect for 18 adults! Very spacious for our large group. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a group our size. The house was well stocked. We LOVED the game room! We had so much fun there. We also utilized the two RV spots, as well. Will would definitely come back again and will recommend to our friends.

Fabulous Rental

Our family really enjoyed the Custer Lodge! We travel to the Hills every summer as a large group and this cabin accommodated us all (15) very well! It’s all it says and more. We loved all the nature around the cabin. We will stay again and recommend it to others looking for a great cabin!!

Wonderful vacation home

Our extended family gathered together in this home for the vacation of a lifetime. The place is beautiful, comfortable, thoughtfully furnished and well supplied, and a wonderful property for every age. The location is great - close to everything, including a nice grocery store. Everyone enjoyed the game shed, the fire pit, and the hot tub, and the amazing grill made dinners fun and easy. We loved our stay here, and we recommend this rental property very highly.

This was a beautiful property and fit our extended family of 20 well.The kitchen worked great for our family meals and the extra fridge in the garage was great for beverages. Plenty tools and pans as well as dishes. Coffee makers got lots of workouts too. The game room was a great place for hanging out both for the kids and adults.Checkin and support from the manager was fantastic!

I booked this house for an annual family get together, with guests aged 95 to 10. We chose this location in Custer because we try to do something in a new location every year, but in driving distance, and something with attractions. We had people coming in from Colorado, Minnesota, Iowa, and Indiana by car or flight into nearby Rapid City. This house pleased everyone. The host was easy to work with, responding quickly to inquiries, and providing great instructions about the house and information on the area. The house was at the end of a long drive in an attractive wooded area, private, and quiet. There was plenty of space for everyone, accommodating fourteen adults and two children comfortably. The house was attractively decorated, the rooms were clean, the beds and linens comfortable, plenty of towels, and one of the best equipped kitchens I've experienced at a VRBO. We cooked breakfasts and evening meals for the family and found the kitchen and the outside gas grill well able to cook and serve large spreads, and more than enough seating inside and out, with a large dining table, counter seating, and two patio tables and chairs outside. Extras included a hot tub and a separate building with several game tables, foosball, pool, air hockey, table shuffleboard, poker table, and a large screen TV. You hardly needed the Black Hills/Custer attractions. Just relax on the deck and patios in the morning and evenings and let the wildlife and birds come to you. A great place.

Beautiful and convenient

The stay was easily accessible for our transportation. They had all the extras we need for our large group of 21. We took extra soap and paper supplies but never needed them. Beds were comfy and rooms had all the space that we needed and we loved the beauty of our surroundings and the common room held plenty of seating for our group to gather together.

Beautiful property with so many spacious rooms. Our family of 21 enjoyed meals on the smoker and Blackstone grill, as well as the hot tub, and well-furnished kitchen. So convenient to day trip to historic sites and attractions. Hosts were very responsive to questions. The game room was a hit with kids and adults.
